Never Again!

Advantages: Lovely to drive with good driving position
Disadvantages: A total let down

Stilo 1.9 multiwagon TD JTD 115 bhp

Advantages: Plenty of space/room good visability all round
Disadvantages: fuel cunsumption not very good at normal driving . @56mph very good

I had a stilo for 3 years. returned no more than 40mpg on a run 35mpg around town. had it from new . done less then 30.000 miles in it sat out on drive for most of the time i had it. chewed the front tyres. 6 in total . same tyres on rear for 3years. had new disc's on front after 1 year. pads on front changed twice. Front complete suspention was changed both sides. collapsed... drivers door had funny spells of not opening. lovely car to drive. ...

SMALL FAMILY CAR - FIAT STILO

Advantages: Cheap Tax, Cheap Insurance, Nippy little number
Disadvantages: Electronics and Cost of FIAT Dealership

Fiat Silo. This is one of the easiest cars I have driven and the interior is not too shabby either. The 1.9 JTD has quite a bit of power under the bonnet, looks deceptive. Plent of cup holders and storage space. The boot can easily fit prams, golf clubs or a months worth of shopping. The build quality is exceptional. ...recomment a local garage as FIAT Dealerships can be quite expensive. However the customer service from the FIAT Head Office was second to none when I have contacted them. I have found my car insurance to be relatively cheap, and a years tax will set you back £121.00 which is not too expensive. I would recommend the Diesel as you definately get more miles to the gallon providing you drive sensibly. ...

FIAT STILO 'BLUE'

Advantages: SURPRISING POWER AND HANDLING
Disadvantages: NONE AT ALL

...the new Bravo back and Fiat were trying to get rid of the Stilo's quickly. It was a Special Edition "Blue" which had a body kit and a Buetooth phone system as well. It definitely looked a lot faster than it was but I was only 17 at the time so the 1.4 engine was plenty big enough but definitely wasn't slow. It had 92bhp and had great handling. Stilo- looks good but looks can be deceiving

I bought my fiat 1.6 active sport in January and its been a nightmare, so far its been back to the garage about 6 times , first it was the electrics, then it had to have a new instrument cluster fitted, then the engine management light kept coming on, which stoped after a while.
