I bought my T plated Brave form the dealer on finance. At the time of purchase I was assured that the car undergoes their hundreds of checks prior to handover to me the customer so that any faulty aspects on the car is rectified.
Took the car for a service 3 weeks ago, and because I was on holiday in a different part of the country i booked it into the local dealer, just for an oil change etc, the being a diesel. can you imagine my shock and horror when i was landed with a bill for £330, because the breaks disks and drums had dangeorus wear on them.
considering that i'd done 2000 miles in the 6 months that i'd had the car i went ballistic. i told the local dealer that i will not be paying for that because of the fact the car should have had the various checks prior to being handed to me. they wanted their money which i had to cough up and contact my dealer instead.
spoke to the salesman who sold me the car and he said he only sold cars and the service department are responsible for that side of the "business"-contacted service and as it turned out he was always with a customer whenever i called. so i set him up went to the dealership, and called form my mobile and again he was with a customer. i told the reception to inform him that i was on a mobile and was aware of his location and that unless i heard form him in the next 10 minutes that i will be driving to the local solicitors office. barely had i rung off that he called to say that a cheque will be forwarded to me.

Advantages: low fuel consumption, nippy Disadvantages: noisy in lower gears
I got a R-reg Fiat Brava 1.9TD last year for £3400. I did 25,000 miles in one year, without any problems except the usual service(oil, filter, brake pads).
Great car, easy t maintain interior, good speakers if you replace the usual stereo with a good one .
Fun to drive, doesn't loose power when driving uphill, and you really can see this on motorways and steap roads.
Although a bit noisy in lower gears (1,2), this is not a problem anymore if going ... ...certainly buy it again.
It helps to put a good quality oil (Castrol Magnatec 10w synthetic recomended) and clean the engine before puting the new oil in (Halfords have kits which will clean the engine for 7-8£).
Looking after injectors by clening them every 3,000m gives you better power and lowers the fuel consumption.
Put some good quality tires and it will give you a safe drive for miles and miles even when driving with 110mph. If you look after ...

Advantages: Reliable, cheap to run, easy to drive Disadvantages: a bit slow
I bought this car in 2005 for £2,200. Love it! ok, so it is a bit slow, but it is comfy and very reliable! My wife put in Petrol, it still went! the garage couldnt believe it! they drained the tank (after it being drove 3 miles on Petrol!) filled it back up with Diesel and off it went! no problems. It regularly is ran of fresh air, never fails! The car is abused, but it keeps on going! This car is so good that on a trip out or when we need to get ...

Advantages: nice big family car, plenty of boot space, Disadvantages: tends to consume petrol rather fast,
I purchased this car rather cheap,i thought, compared to other makes,i feel it's a large family car, plenty of boot space, handles superbly on the roads, attractive car,but tends to be heavy on the juice, i feel this is not too big of a problem.Very reliable so far(owned it a year),looks very neat and tidy inside .Twin air bags are a must but this car only has the one,i also feel it should have been supplied with an additional alarm,i only have an immobiliser, ... ...standard a cd player.I would recommend this car to anyone who has a family like myself due to its size, and,i feel i have got good value for money,we wanted a car that was cheep and the newest we could get to last us a long time, hopefully this is the one. ...
