As I said earlier I've had mine two and a half years now and apart from a slight electrical earth fault it has given me trouble free motoring.
As a family car it is an excellent choice, what with five doors and the boot space can easily store two good size suitcases plus all the other essential items with ease with the addition of the 60/40 split rear seats any unusual shaped items can be stowed away safely.
Finally it's worth noting that this car is ideally suited for longer journeys ( the luxury velour seats are so comfortable & supportive ) as fuel consumption can be a little high around town but delivers a good average on motorway trips. Also it's worth pointing out that the ride may seem a little hard for some drivers but I personally feel it gives a sporty feel.
In my view, talking things Italian, if this car was a pizza it would certainly have all the toppings!!
Advantages: Stylish, well built, holds its value Disadvantages: high servicing costs, plasticky
...is well built for a Fiat and holds its value very well. The car has a great sporty look to it, looking good from all angles.
Power steering comes as standard and the driving position is excellent. Inside, there is plenty of space but (typically Fiat) the interior is a horrible sea of plastic.
Fuel economy is only average and servicing costs are high.
If you want decent boot space, then go for the Brava instead ...

Advantages: Looks good, comfortable, good range of features Disadvantages: high fuel consumption, read review for any more
The title of my review- i calld it this as i have tried a Mondeo and i find it to be along the same line as Brava's, but I find that the Brava looks nicer, im not saying this is better or anything.
So, we got this car after we had a Peugeot 309, which gave me more faults than a game of tennis. The Brava was the first 'modern' car that i had, the rest were old and no newer than a J reg.
When i got this i wasn't disappointed, i was just a bit shocked ... ...It looks good from the outside no matter how you look at it, and inside it looks great aswell. It is extremely comfortable aswell! Inside it's curvy, modern, and the radio, air conditioning, heaters and all of the switches are easy to use aswell. The sunroof controls are great with a couple of options for which ways you want to open the sunroof. You can slide it open all the was across, or choose it to lift up a a few inches. The sunroof is electric ...

Advantages: road handling, nice and roomy Disadvantages: paintwork problems, interior finish, quick to lose its value
I have had an S Reg brava for over a year now and it is certainly a great deal better than my old punto.
It handles well, and it has a much smoother ride than the punto - the power assisted steering of course helps.
It is a stylish car which still looks good even though the model is 5 years old. However, the problem as I see it is the qulaity of the interior and the paintwork.
The interior plastic scratches very easily and is impossible to put ... ...design fault and mine was broken when I got the car - I have seen other Bravas and Mareas with the same problem.
The paintwork also leaves a great deal to be desired. Sadly I have to park my car on the road and it gets scrtached al the time from other drivers. Because of the design of the car, the bumpers do nothing and pain will always be scratched if another car touches it however slightly. The back lights are also a problem and are easily damaged.

Advantages: Handling, Looks, Low costs Disadvantages: Trim
I have owned and run the last version of this car (Brava 1.6SX 16v) for 2 years and covered 50,000 miles. I bought it in preference to others (such as the Renault Megane, Peugeot 306 and Citreon Xsara) for it's combination of handling, looks and value. I found the Xsara dull and uninspiring and the 306 had excellent handling but was not such good value or so stylish.
It has proved a very capable car and so far very reliable. The only additional ... ...best points are the handling, styling, low cost (ins group 7) and practicality. The only real negative point has been a slight trim problem. Fuel economy and performance are probably slightly below the class leaders but it's reasonably willing when pushed. Ride quality is ideal for me, and aids responsive handling, although some may find it slightly harsh. It has probably lost a fairly large proportion of it's value by now too. ...

up and contact my dealer instead.
spoke to the salesman who sold me the car and he said he only sold cars and the service department are responsible for that side of the "business"-contacted service and as it turned out he was always with a customer whenever i called. so i set him up went to the dealership, and called form my mobile and again he was with a customer. i told the reception to inform him that i was on a mobile and was aware of his location and that unless i heard form him in the next 10 minutes that i will be driving to the local solicitors office. barely had i rung off that he called to say that a cheque will be forwarded to me.
the behaviour and attitude from fiat form digraceful, flog you the car and leave you sort ot any mess that results, and the actions can only be reolved with legal threats. ...
Advantages: low fuel consumption, nippy Disadvantages: noisy in lower gears
I got a R-reg FiatBrava 1.9TD last year for £3400.
I did 25,000 miles in one year, without any problems except the usual service(oil, filter, brake pads).
Great car, easy t maintain interior, good speakers if you replace the usual stereo with a good one .
Fun to drive, doesn't loose power when driving uphill, and you really can see this on motorways and steap roads.
Although a bit noisy in lower gears (1,2), this is not a problem anymore if going with over 30mph.
Very good value for money, I would certainly buy it again.
It helps to put a good quality oil (Castrol Magnatec 10w synthetic recomended) and clean the engine before puting the new oil in (Halfords have kits which will clean the engine for 7-8£).
Looking after injectors by clening them every 3,000m gives you better power and lowers the fuel consumption.
Put some good ...
