I have owned my Fiat Bravo for just over 2 years now and bought it second hand on a Y plate. Unfortunately Fiat seem to have a bad reputation- I think due to their older cars, you should ignor this as the newer cars are excellent. I have done 50000 miles since I had the car (in 2 years), and ... Read review

Fiat Bravo 1.2 16v

Advantagescheap to run, stylish

Disadvantagesunderpowered

"I have owned my Fiat Bravo for just over 2 years now and bought it second hand on a Y plate. Unfortunately Fiat seem to have a bad reputation- I think due to their older cars, you should ignor this as the newer cars are excellent. I have done 50000 miles since I had the car (in 2 years), and the only parts I have replaced are the exhaust ( standard wear and tear), and a little electronic box called the coil pack (the old car equivalent to the points ..." Really good little car with some good features

AdvantagesCheap, comfortable, reliable ( if maintained well)

DisadvantagesNot too much power, parts can seem to deteriorate quickly

"...someone who was selling Their fiat bravo, I told him I had about 8-900 to spend on a car. So he took me to this house and outside was parked the bravo. A nice purply blue colour, alloy wheels and some fancy windscreen wipers. I liked it being a young guy and decided there and the. I wanted it, so we took it for a little spin around the block. Yeah, seemed good. Got back to the house and my driving instructor got down to some haggling. Turns out the ..." Read review

Good Fun Car

AdvantagesCheap, Stylish, Economical, Low Insurance, Reliable, Seemingly Well Built

DisadvantagesDepreciation, Slightly Underpowered, Non-Current Model

"I've had my Fiat Bravo since new, and touch wood, have had no problems with it so far. It's just had it's first MOT and passed with flying colours. It's been a very reliable first car for me, looks like it could go a lot faster than it can, and is a low insurance group (6 I believe). The 1242 cc engine gives enough power (82bhp) to get up to reasonable speeds without too much trouble, and only with 5 people and luuggage in the car does it sometimes ..." Read review

Fiat Bravo 1.2 Review

AdvantagesGreat all round car

DisadvantagesMine was white so took alot of cleaning

"...they will claim anyway from Fiat but if you've not got the discount from them they will pocket the refund themselves!). My Dad's Bravo is now 6 years old, and still going strong. He like me just doesn't know what to replace it with, and although his has eaten tyres and been more expensive to service there's not been any enormous (expensive) problems on his either. It's worth remembering that when you are out in your Bravo you'll forever be admired ..." Read review

My Bravo

AdvantagesEconomy

DisadvantagesBit slow

"...disc cd palyer thrown in. Fiat Buckhurst Hill were really friendly and their service department are great. Bit pricey but I am sure you can get it serviced for cheaper elsewhere. Not the fastest but it does make you feel like you can go fast. I have heared people can get 110Mph out of them on the motorway. "Not me officer, I am a good and careful driver. I would never exceed the speed limit"!!!!! ..." Read review
