Fiat Bravo 1.2

I have owned my Fiat Bravo for just over 2 years now and bought it second hand on a Y plate. Unfortunately Fiat seem to have a bad reputation- I think due to their older cars, you should ignor this as the newer cars are excellent. Fiat Bravo 1.2 16v

Advantages: cheap to run, stylish
Disadvantages: underpowered

I have owned my Fiat Bravo for just over 2 years now and bought it second hand on a Y plate. Unfortunately Fiat seem to have a bad reputation- I think due to their older cars, you should ignor this as the newer cars are excellent. I have done 50000 miles since I had the car (in 2 years), and the only parts I have replaced are the exhaust ( standard wear and tear), and a little electronic box called the coil pack (the old car equivalent to the points ...
.../> My bravo had a fiat CD player and a 6 speaker sound system, which sounded great, untill the rollers in the head unit wear out and it would'nt give me my CVD's back. I have changed the stereo for a Pioneer but all the speakers are perfectly good. Although the player did wear out it can happen to any player and cannot really be blamed on a fault of the car. The interior is very nice and comfortable and although mine doesnt have air con it was an ... more

Good Fun Car

Advantages: Cheap, Stylish, Economical, Low Insurance, Reliable, Seemingly Well Built
Disadvantages: Depreciation, Slightly Underpowered, Non-Current Model

I've had my Fiat Bravo since new, and touch wood, have had no problems with it so far. It's just had it's first MOT and passed with flying colours. It's been a very reliable first car for me, looks like it could go a lot faster than it can, and is a low insurance group (6 I believe). The 1242 cc engine gives enough power (82bhp) to get up to reasonable speeds without too much trouble, and only with 5 people and luuggage in the car does it sometimes ...
...real complaint I have with it is the depreciation from new - also as it's not a current model having been superceded by the Fiat Stilo, you can now pick these up very cheaply - great for second hand buyers but not too good for purchasers from new like myself. ...

Fiat Bravo 1.2 Review

Advantages: Great all round car
Disadvantages: Mine was white so took alot of cleaning

...they will claim anyway from Fiat but if you've not got the discount from them they will pocket the refund themselves!). My Dad's Bravo is now 6 years old, and still going strong. He like me just doesn't know what to replace it with, and although his has eaten tyres and been more expensive to service there's not been any enormous (expensive) problems on his either. It's worth remembering that when you are out in your Bravo you'll forever be admired ...

My Bravo

Advantages: Economy
Disadvantages: Bit slow

...disc cd palyer thrown in. Fiat Buckhurst Hill were really friendly and their service department are great. Bit pricey but I am sure you can get it serviced for cheaper elsewhere. Not the fastest but it does make you feel like you can go fast. I have heared people can get 110Mph out of them on the motorway. "Not me officer, I am a good and careful driver. I would never exceed the speed limit"!!!!! ...

Friendly Fiat dealers for all your needs

Advantages: friendly, cheap (for a car dealers), do as they say
Disadvantages: depends on the car, sometimes they are visited quite often

Well, I had better begin by claiming an interest here, hadn't I? I was first introduced to St Leonards Motors of Hastings by my brother, who at the time was working in their sales department. In total, my family has bought several cars from them, including: 1 Fiat Bravo 1 Fiat Punto 1 Fiat Uno 2 Fiat Tipos 1 Fiat Croma So you can see that we have bought over the entire range, both new and used. I can seriously say that, with my hand on my heart, they are a very friendly, not in the least bit pushy or overbearing, and accommodating dealership. As you drive up Harley Shute Road from the A259 and turn left at the roundabout at the top, you zip down a little hill (hills, oh how I miss hills now that I live in Lincolnshire- you see fell walkers queuing to go over a speed hump round here!) and turn right into Churchwood Drive. You ...
