The new Fiat Bravo 1.6 Eco
Advantages: Excellent styling, fuel economy and emissions. Disadvantages: Narrow rear end means a small back window and reduced boot space.
...have recently purchased the new Fiat Bravo 1.6 Eco diesel. The eco referrs to the fuel effiency and emmissions that some new Fiats have. Firstly the fuel effiency is quoted by Fiat as 65 mpg on the combined urban/extraurban cycle. Although the Eco is good, I have only managed low 50's, however that is still extremely efficient. A tank of diesel so far has averaged at about 550 miles, pretty good. The real bonus of the Eco however is the low emissions. ... ...the second category which means none of the recently introduced forecourt tax and at current rates only £35 a year after that. The styling of the new Bravo is excellent, it looks good and you feel good driving it. The interior is well made and looks much better than the older style Bravo, in fact almost every aspect of the new model appears to be an improvement on the older style. The nly downside of the new styling is that the rear window is smaller ...

Absoloutely horrid car... Wil shock for bad
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Loud, expensive, poor mileage, no power at all, will constantly break down... Could go on
This car is probably the worst car ive ever owned
The ride is terrible, almost every bump is felt. In addition, there are endless problems with the vehicle, i get 20mpg for a 1.4! and it drives like S***... Never in my life have i driven such a gutless car
My vehicle has 28,000 miles covered, and it drives like it has done at least 200,000
For a 1.4, it struggles to pull uphill and has to be really revved hard, let alone with 4 people in the vehicle.
... ...windows, air conditioning and so on however the height adjustments of the seat and steering wheel adjustments can be considered satisfactory. Furthermore, the size of the boot can be pleasing, even though the vehicle is still substantially longer then your usual hatchback. At motorway speeds, alot of wind speed can also be heard, alongside the fact that the vehicle is not safe and stable at motorway speeds at all and struggles to accelerate past ...

Fiat Bravo 1.2 Review
Advantages: Great all round car Disadvantages: Mine was white so took alot of cleaning
...they will claim anyway from Fiat but if you've not got the discount from them they will pocket the refund themselves!). My Dad's Bravo is now 6 years old, and still going strong. He like me just doesn't know what to replace it with, and although his has eaten tyres and been more expensive to service there's not been any enormous (expensive) problems on his either. It's worth remembering that when you are out in your Bravo you'll forever be admired ...

A good looking Mondeo alternative
Advantages: Looks good, comfortable, good range of features Disadvantages: high fuel consumption, read review for any more
The title of my review- i calld it this as i have tried a Mondeo and i find it to be along the same line as Brava's, but I find that the Brava looks nicer, im not saying this is better or anything.
So, we got this car after we had a Peugeot 309, which gave me more faults than a game of tennis. The Brava was the first 'modern' car that i had, the rest were old and no newer than a J reg.
When i got this i wasn't disappointed, i was just a bit shocked ... ...It looks good from the outside no matter how you look at it, and inside it looks great aswell. It is extremely comfortable aswell! Inside it's curvy, modern, and the radio, air conditioning, heaters and all of the switches are easy to use aswell. The sunroof controls are great with a couple of options for which ways you want to open the sunroof. You can slide it open all the was across, or choose it to lift up a a few inches. The sunroof is electric ...

Fiat Bravo 1.8 HLX
Advantages: Cheap, lively engine and handling, good brakes. Disadvantages: Space is not as good as others in class.
I have owned this 1999 Fiat Bravo 1.8 HLX for about 1 year. I bought it for £1000 with 60K miles on the clock and a full service history. I have covered 15K miles.
The car is very well equipped with electric windows, mirrors & sunroof, heated seats and a decent stereo. The interior is functional if not very exciting, and reasonably spacious although the headroom in the back isn't too great - due to the sloping roof.
The 113bhp engine performs well, ... ...in all conditions although it does understeer, especially in the wet, when pushed hard.
The brakes are very good and the ABS has helped a couple of times in the wet when i thought the wheels would lock under very hard braking but the car just stopped without any drama. Despite what a lot of people say about Fiat, this car has been very reliable, making the 45 mile round trip to work every day without any problems.
The only items i have had to replace ...
