I am a 17 year old first time car buyer and have 2 parents that are equally inexperienced in buying used cars, therefore I felt my only option when getting my Panda was to go to a dealership.
I was reccommended this dealership as my boss at work's sister's friend works there, and my boss herself has purchased cars from Piccadilly previously and enjoyed the experience! Wakefield is a train ride away for me, but was well worth it as they had around 5 Fiat Pandas inside and outside the showroom for sale, and after 2mins of sitting with a salesperson they had knocked off £500 for me! I simply stated my budget, the engine size I wanted, colour, and extras, and he found me one immediately and knocked down to price to be affordable to me! Me and my mum had a little sit in it, me in the driving seat of course, and a general look around to see if there was any damage, etc. After 30mins we agreed to arrange a test drive with my dad present the next day, and put down a deposit of £50. The best part was, once we left the dealership to head back to the trainstation, the salesperson pulled up in a shiny Fiar Punto Grande Sport and offered us a lift all the way home! Which is 20mins on the motorway! Very impressed!
We arrived for the test drive, were greeted warmly by the salesperson we had dealt with the previous afternoon, and after around 5mins of discussion over the finer details were off in the Panda for 'as long as you want'. We eventually took just over 1 and a half hours on the test drive, but as soon as we got back we were greeted warmly once again, and a deal was struck, paperwork filled in etc! No pressure was applied when going through added extras such as extended warrenty, insurance etc and I was very happy with the calm and friendly way all the staff at the dealership dealt with us as customers.
Overall, this has been a pleasant experience for both myself as a teenager and my parents as novice car-buyers, and I would reccommend this dealership to everyone. Not only are the staff friendly, but they knock down prices like there's no tomorrow, and do not apply any pressure to buy!
