Advantages: Excellent Financial Data, Well written articles Disadvantages: It costs £6.50, quite a few adverts appear in the publication
...Money Management has the title "The Professional's Independent Adviser" and is priced at £6.50. It is a monthly publication by the Financial Times with information on a variety of different financial products. The magazine covers topics such as Mortgages, Pensions, Insurance, Investment trusts and Unit trusts.
Personally I only choose to purchase this magazine once every six months because I think it is quite a steep price for a magazine at £6.50. The main reason I buy the publication is for the comprehensive data banks on Unit and Investment trusts to aid with analysis and decisions. The data banks in Money Management magazine are probably the best out of all the monthly financialmagazines. The data banks contain both discrete and cumulative performance for Unit and Investment Trusts. Discrete performance is taken from the previous 3...

Advantages: well written Disadvantages: boring not very appealing
...Moneywise is a readers digest publication , offering financial advice to readers . It makes great reading before you go to bed -it is guaranteed to send you to sleep ! Stimulating no , dreary yes .
Saying that , these magazines have their place . Certainly there are enough of them around in this genre to suggest lot's of people go out and buy them .
I managed to purchase the magazine for a third off the cover price at just 99p instead of the usual £3.
So what do you get for your brass then ? Well Moneywise is a glossy personal finance magazine . Regular topics covered include the stockmarket , investments such as gilts , bonds , loans , mortgages , savings , travel insurance and tax issues .
One of the things I do like about it is that they explain things clearly and straighforwardly . They do not overcomplicate matters , or use...
