Firefly - why Joss Whedon is God

Advantages: Wit, charm, Joss Whedon humour, quality.
Disadvantages: No more to come

last saw as a squire in 'A Knight's Tale' threatening Chaucer with pain, and a 'companion' (prostitute) who lends a guise of respectability to the often illegal activities of the crew! This series was ill-fated. Fox cancelled it. Joss Whedon hopes to see a feature film made out of 'Firefly' and I'm sure I do too. But otherwise, after fourteen wonderful episodes this is all there is, and it's all here on this DVD collection. The combination of cowboys with Colt 45s and rustled cattle with the high tech world of space-travel in a multicultural future where everyone can speak Chinese as well as English is vastly different to the Star Trek universe and the Star Wars type of movie, but it's compelling stuff.. Firefly: The Show That Could Have Been

Advantages: One of the best shows by Joss Whedon...
Disadvantages: ...cancelled before it can get "bigger"

Review of Firefly - The Complete Series (Box Set) (DVD)

Official Sixaxis Controller Review

Advantages: Motion sensors - Looks great - light - trigger buttons - playstation button - easy to charge
Disadvantages: Lack of rumble - too light for some people

Instead of re-designing the controller for the next system in sony's line up they stayed with their playstation 2 design whcih worked so well. Early pictures showed a boomerang controller design which I for one am so glad they did not decide to manufacture. The new playstation 3 sixaxis controller looks great. It feels extremely light and confortable in any size hands. Although it feels light it is still sturdy and durable with the buttons feeling as good as ever. They replaced the analogue button and light with a great looking round playstation button which is very useful as it lets you access in-game XMB and lets you quit the game or change the controller settings.
