Right you're looking for a package to help you do your graphics for your web site, well look no further than Fireworks 3. A word of caution though: if you're a novice you may find this product a bit daunting at first. As with all Macromedia products there's something for everyone, however you may need to trawl the help files in order to be able get you started. However, saying this doesn't mean that the program is unfriendly, in fact far from it. I just recommend that you don't just jump straight in unless you've used other versions of Fireworks and know you're way around.

The basics are there as are some more advanced options and features. However, where Fireworks becomes a real winner is its seamless integration with other Macromedia products, especially Dreamweaver. When you are saving out your file ready to be used on your web page then all you do is get Fireworks to generate the HTML equivalent to the version of Dreamweaver that you are using. Then once in Dreamweaver you just insert a Fireworks object and hey presto, no fiddling, it's all done you. Of course there are many other useful features, but this isn't an in depth review so I'll let you find these yourself.

So would recommend Fireworks? Well you answer is a big yes, especially if you have other Macromedia packages, as integration between these packages is some of the best that I have seen. Be warned though as with Dreamweaver, Fireworks can be a little daunting at first, but give it time and you'll soon be knocking out quality web graphics.
