Advantages Drawers stops the dogs licking your plates
Disadvantages Repeated Blocking
Yes, it is a gimmick. We were attracted by the modern design and stainless steel look of the machine. If you have dogs, and like ours they rush to lick the plates every time you open the door - you may think this is the machine for you. We did. There are many attractive features on the dishwasher - you can fit saucepans in; if you have nice glass, but not enough to fill a whole load - the half drawer means you can do a half load on glass setting. But - and there are lots of them - the machine keeps blocking and their customer services told me I had to wash the plates properly before I loaded them - isn't this a dishwasher? The rinse aid is difficult to fill from a bottle and for some reason you are sternly warned against letting even one drop fall into the machine; the salt dispenser is difficult to fill; they don't like tablets (according to customer services); also according to customer services you have to be very careful loading them; if you're not careful, utensils fall down and stop the rotor washing arm from rotating = dirty load. If you have loads of time to spend filling the machine, don't have any kids and your plates are clean after you finish eating - this may be the machine for you. If you're normal, forget it and get a tried and tested model.

Check that the food filter unit is clear including the back hose as this is usually a case where dishwashers clog. - its usually located before the main motor arm on the bottom.
