Grows with your child sing and go choo choo
Advantages noisy colourful textured exploring toy growing with baby into imaginative play
Disadvantages bit frustrating when it gets stuck and starts clicking
I loved Fisher price toys when I was a child, they were handed down to me from my aunty, I passed them down to my sister and they were then passed on to a family friends children. Fisher price toys are made to last forever!
Now I have children of my own the collection is growing again. My Aunty purchased the Fisher Price Amazing animals Sing n go Choo Choo for my son for his first christmas, he was 6 months old at the time I thought it might have been a bit old for him but he loved playing with animals making them click and rattle etc they also came in handy for him to chomp on as he was cutting his teeth. The train is motorised it moves around the room towing a trailer the funnel lights up and it plays very catchy animal tunes, you will find yourself singing them all day. As the train moves around the room i found it encouraged Jamie to crawl after it, you can also alter the setting so that it makes animal noises. I think this is fantastic Jamie is really funny when he is copying the sounds. The train comes with a Giraffe a lovely colorful toy that has clicky legs that baby can turn round, he sits in the front carriage of the train. Next comes the bright blue elephant he has lumpy ears that have a texture that is ideal for teething babies, on his carriage there sits a little red pelican on a spring, my baby loved this he boinged away for hours. A monkey hangs from the bar on the back of the train he rattles and is really sweet!
Jamie is now two and a half and still spends a lot of time playing with this train and animals, he is more imaginative with them now picking them up and dropping them off as he passes with the train etc, I think this train has definately earnt its cost it has grown with Jamie and I am sure he will be having fun with it for a while yet!Suitable from ages 6 months plus fisher price are trying to encourage cause and effect, babies enjoy making things happen. The train takes 3 C batteries, they last for ages.
The only negative I have found is that the train does get stuck on the slightest thing and makes an annoying clicking sound until you move it.I am sure as Jamie gets older we will no doubt be following the tradition of handing it on to other children.
Summary: fantastic recommended
