Fisher price garage.

It was his fathers before him.

When I visited my daughter the other day I discovered Adrian had received a present from his other grandparents. Cleaning out the loft they had found Martin (my son in law's toy garage) Adrian at 15 months is only just old enough to play with it.
I would really recommend it for a child of 18 months upwards to about 7. 1 yr old is the manufacturers recommended age but I feel maybe that is just a little young
Adrian at 15 months just enjoys rolling the cars /wheeled toys down the slope.

The garage is obviously made well lasts as this one has a generation or so. I have experience with this garage in my childcare and it does take a lot of bashing and use without damage. I think looking at the pictures of the modern toy garage it has changed a little, not much just a little. The modern garage costs between 20 and 22 pounds. A second hand garage can be picked up for £3-6 pounds on ebay and in for sale adds in newspapers. A good price for such a sturdy toy with good play value. If Vodkaboy reads this I think it would be great for vodka baby for his next Christmas pressie.

The garage is made from plastic coloured a yellowy orange with blue and red. This garage has 2 parking levels. A slope to push the cars up to the second level and a slope for them to get down. There is a lift that the child can wind up and down.
On the lower level there is a pay desk. Although only one small car remains with the set that was my son in laws the new garage comes with cars and people that sit in them.
I think this is a good toy that my grandson has inherited, as he gets a little bit older he will become more imaginative in his play with the garage and it also will act as an excellent storage place for some of the toy cars I am sure he will acquire.
Thanks for reading . best wishes Mary.

the age group should be from 12 months to 70 years

I wish I'd bought this one for my son, rather than the more basic one, which he grew out of quite quickly.
