Advantages: Keeps the baby entertained for hours! Disadvantages: Expensive, limited lifespan!
This review refers to the newer Rainforest version.
I bought this for my little boy when he was about 5 months old. He had come to the point where he could hold himself up pretty well, and I felt that he needed a new form of entertainment. I found the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo to be a godsend. I was able to leave my boy in the jumperoo to entertain himself as I was able to get on and do my own thing, rather than spend every minute of the ... ...themed alternative to doorway bouncers. It looks great, with soft toy parrots and frogs hanging from palm leaves attached above, and 4 different toy activity trays surrounding the baby, which they can easily access via a 360 degree swivel chair. Each of the activity toys plays music and sounds, and have flashing lights for extra entertainment. My boy quickly learned that the more he bounces in the jumperoo, the more lights would flash, and the more ...

Advantages: Hours of safe fun Disadvantages: Price
We bought this for my Son at about four and a half months. He was always trying to sit up and needed more entertainment than his playmat, swing or even I could give. We were originally looking at walkers, but as soon as we saw the Jumperoo WE loved it (never mind our son). We put him in it in the shop and he was in awe, he absolutely loved it. To see the huge grin on his face in those first few seconds was amazing.
To say this piece of equipment ... ...understatement. I am now able to sit and have a coffee in peace (well, if you discount the noise of the jumperoo) and able to do the housework without my son crying for me. It is also good when he is refusing to nap, fifteen minutes in it and he's out like a light.
~Overview~
With its 360 degrees spinning seat and various colourful toys it is perfect for keeping little ones entertained. It is easy to put together (approximately 5 minutes) The seat ...

Advantages: No doorframes needed. Safe and portable. Disadvantages: Takes up a lot of space, not ideal for taller babies.
My son was a door bouncer addict but got so rowdy with it, we went shopping for a safer alternative. We found this and it is worth every penny. He will quite happily entertain himself with bouncing up and down and rocking it forwards and backwards. The base is sturdy and I've never worried that he'd hurt himself. The lights and music attachment never held much interest for him and most of the time we've just removed it. While normally this might ... ...or attach. The fabric seat is also very easy to remove and washes up nicely by hand or just tossed into the machine. The height levels are also very easy to adjust. The only real downside I've found is that while there are 4 height settings, they don't cater for longer/taller babies like my son. It does also take up quite a lot of space but I feel it is worth it to allow me 5 minutes of mummy time. ...

Jumperoo fun Review ofFisher Price Deluxe Jumperooby
oxoxallyoxox
Advantages: Hours of fun, safe Disadvantages: Huge
I chose this Jumperoo instead of a baby walker as I dont agree with baby walkers. My thinking on getting this was the jumping would strengthen my baby's legs without letting her jump too hard.
She loved this - it allowed to gently jump up and down which kept her amused for hours and it also had a little activity tabel on the front.
The springs that help it bounce are within babys reach but are protected so you baby wont hurt his hands or get them ... ...and down.
The only real problem I had was the amount of space this took up. It really is huge. and doesnt fit anywhere. I found it looked awkward no matter where I put it. I loved this - however there are other one's out there with smaller frames. ...
