I recently gave birth to a baby boy who was quite a loud and fussy baby, and therefore, I found myself being forced to find something for him that would keep him quiet and distracted in order to let me get on with my work. However, my little boy didn't like anything that wouldn't light up and make so much noise that anyone within the house would get the biggest headache out of and therefore, not let me work anyway. Until one day, I came across this bright yellow winnie the pooh teddy at John lewis's fisher price section when my baby boy wouldn't stop clinging to it, so I decided to buy it although I found it being quite expensive for my preferations at £14
The fact that the teddy is soft is highly advantageable and dosen't contain disadvantages such as those of which contain harmful chemicals within the cotton used as I was quite worried in regards to my son putting everything in his mouth and therefore, had to make sure I was aware of what was within the cotton just incase and luckily, found that there is no problem within the cotton, thus, the quality of the product is quite high as no matter how hard he tries to rip it, it never works and if he does then I don't have anything to worry about!
Additionally, the fact that I have a messy baby is also a disadvantage when he's playing with his toys, however, this teddy is washable and therefore putting it in the washing machine shouldn't be a problem, on the other hand, it may allow the colouring of the product to change and therefore I would advice you not to put it in the washing machine yet wash it using your hands instead.
It also allows you not to worry much about the risks some toys may have upon babies, for example, my child tends to play with many electronic toys and therefore, I get worried when he's picking them up and chucking them as they also tend to be quite heavy aswell so there is a possibility of him harming his legs as he may chuck the toys on his legs, yet, this teddy can do no harm which is a bonus.
Furthermore, just because Ive been talking about baby boys throughout this review doesen't mean its a toy just for boys. The fact that its a unisex toy is also highly beneficial as both girls and boys can play with it. I also tend to take this toy alongside our journeys out as it seems to keep the children busy and therefore quiet so its highly beneficial if you need some time off for yourself without your baby crying so much.
On the other hand, to conclude, I would recommend this toy mostly for babies from about 8 months to about 5 years old as from my experience with it I can identify that they gradually become addicted to it, yet, you should keep in mind that not all babies are the same and some may eventually get bored of it so the effectiveness of this toy depends on what you believe your child would be satisfied with and whether its worth the price.
Additionally, the colour of the teddy is the familiar yellow and red teddy, however, you can always make/nit clothing for the teddy and put it on for him if you would like it to be any other colour and you can get a selection of all winnie the pooh characters such as Tigger and piglet etc. There are also talking and singing winnie the pooh, tigger and piglet teddies so you can buy the one from the same place according to your preferations, however, it may be cheaper to purchase it on www.ebay.co.uk

Averilla, I wrote this whilst I was in a rush thus I will be updating soon and I personally put it in the washing machine yet its colour had slightly changed after doing so so I prefer to just wash it personally now, it may just be issues with my washing machine, everyone is different and I shall update what I meant in relation to the cotton soon :)

Sorry but this was rather odd to read, disjointed and it reads as if you have simply filled in the gaps to make the word count up. Can you put it in the washing machine or not? Have you actually tried because I think you will find that it is perfectly ok to do so,sorry but comments like the following were just bizarre "The fact that the teddy is soft is highly advantageable and dosen't contain disadvantages such as those of which contain harmful chemicals within the cotton "
