Lazytown, not lazy kid!

Advantages The kids look very cute when in costume.
Disadvantages Bit pricey!
On our recent trip to Chapel St Leonard's we, (myself and my husband), decided to help our children on their way to spending the copious amounts of money they seem to have accumulated.
(My kids have this amazing trick of making their money last them twice as long as the money lasts for anyone else, I keep trying to get them to do the weekly shop for me but they are having none of it!)
The first thing that caught my son's eye was the one thing he'd been asking for, for quite sometime, but I had been refusing saying how it was a waste of money, unfortunately I had no choice this time, hence the review I will now write!
The product I will review is the "Sportacusfancy dress costume".For anyone not familiar with this name thank your lucky stars! The afore mentioned character is from the hit children's tv show "Lazytown", this is truly bizarre programme where out of all the characters in the programme only three of the characters are actually human, the rest are played by extremely disturbing looking rubber puppets! The programme is written by the man who plays Sportacus, hence the reason he is the main character!
Firstly may I say how big the box is considering the contents, the box has a clear front to it displaying the entire costume, there is a "Sportacus" cardboard head and face, to which is attached the hat, the blue glasses, the waistcoat and belt badge. Under the "head" part is a sheet of sticky moustaches as worn by the afore mentioned character.Upon opening the box you will soon come to realise how bloody difficult it is to remove the costume! Every piece of clothing is attached to the box with plastic clothing tags, then sell taped through the back of the box with larger plastic tabs!
It took me in total almost 20 minutes just to remove the costume from the box and then in turn from the tags!
Also included are soft rubber wrist plates, a pair of blue thick rimmed plastic glasses, a hat in the matching material to the waistcoat, which may I add is cheap, itchy and nasty velour type material! There is a plastic Sportacus belt badge and the sheet of moustache stickers, which stick to almost everything, apart from the top lip!!
At the original price I felt this set was extortionate, it was first priced at £24.
