Well we all know or have heard of Winnie the Pooh, yes thats right, hes that soft adorable disney character that many of us have grown up with and come to love him and his friends.
So, what is love to walk baby Pooh? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Love to walk baby Pooh is a soft plush toy designed to help toddlers walk. Pooh is about 12 inches tall and is standard colours, yellow bear wearing a red t-shirt. This particular toy sees Pooh holding onto a blue blanket.
So, what does he do? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Pooh bear is a walking bear designed to encourage youngsters in taking their first steps, also falling over so they dont feel so alone when they seem to be the only person falling over. Pooh is initially activated by his hand being squeezed, after this he can be controlled by further hand squeezes or by sound activation. Pooh has 4 walking speeds and many different phrases.
So lets get started. To begin, squeeze Poohs left hand, this will activate him. Pooh will start to walk at the slowest speed and he will say " Hello friend, Pooh bear can walk" along with other phrases and music, on squeezing Poohs hand again he will walk faster and so on untill he reaches the fourth speed where he will run, or alternatively after the first squeeze of the hand Pooh will move on voice activation.
Pooh bear occasionally falls over and he will say to you " Woopsy, Pooh bear fell down, would you pick me up please", on doing so Pooh will say " Thank you very much, Pooh bear loves you ".
Pooh bear may also ask for a hug saying " May I have a hug please " on doing this Pooh bear will say " Thankyou very much, that was such a nice hug, Pooh bear loves you". You can give Pooh bear a hug at any time and he will reply with the above sentence, this happens as he has an activation button on his belly under his t-shirt which lets him know when hes being hugged.
Some of Poohs other phrases are: " Im walking " " im running " " Look at me " " Here I come "
Turning Pooh on and off . ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Firstly, Pooh requires 4 AA batteries which are situated in his feet, 2 in each foot. These are easy enough to access although you will need a screw driver. Pooh has a on / off switch on the bottom of his left foot, but will also shut down automatically when left for a few minutes to preserve battery life, on doing this he will say " Bye bye " .
Where can i find him? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Love to walk baby Pooh can be found in most good toy shops costing around £25, or if you live in Guernsey costing only £22.99. However i managed to get mine for only £14.99 in the sale at christmas.
Keeping Pooh clean. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Pooh bear is only surface washable, so no trips to the machine for this one im afraid, howevrer i find wiping him down with a damp cloth is fine.
So what do I think ? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well Pooh bear is reccomended for children aged 18 months and over, however I saw him in the sale and thought he would be ideal to give to my daughter when she started walking, however my daughter started walking at an early 8 months so I decided that she was probably a bit too young then, however nearly approaching her 1st birthday I decided to give it too her last week. So im thinking that unless your child is a late walker, then this toy really isnt going to encourage your child to actually walk because if you wait till they are 18 months then the chances are they will porobably already be walking, if not then yes this would make a great teaching device. Apart from that i think Pooh is a great toy in teaching them phrases like "Thankyou " and " I love you ", also i get so much enjoyment in watching Kelsi play with him and watching her hug him. Although she is only 11 months old, she knows when his is asking for a hug and she picks him up and squeezes him,and again when he falls over and asks to be picked up, she knows what to do, so again i think it is great for helping them in learning to follow simple instructions.
And Kelsi thinks ? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well she absolutely loves this Pooh bear, when I get him out of the toy box for her, her face just lights up, she understands what he wants and is happy to do what he asks so im guessing she like him.
Well I hope this has helped you a little, I think I have included everything but if there is anything you want to know then just drop a note in my gb.
Advantages: May help your child to start to walk Disadvantages: It also may not
...the many of toys that Fisher Price has brought out over the years. My kids have had a few now and they are all pretty similar in one way or another. Though they are fun for little ones and mine have learned a few things from them when they where little but not a lot. I mean this one never helped them to walk or even courage them too. Though they did learn about “ Can I have a hug please “ which was nice. They don’t tend to last as kids gets older ... ...baby pooh is made by Fisher Price, A well known toy company that have been making great toys for donkeys years. I rate them better then any other brand of toys as Fisher Price toys last ages and are always brightly coloured and fun. The reason you can tell this is baby Pooh bear is because he is holding a baby’s blanket just like most toddlers do. Pooh stands at 12 inches tall and comes in Pooh’s standard colours of being yellow all over with a cute ...

Advantages: Encourages babies to walk as well as teaching words Disadvantages: Young children can't operate themselves
My daughter received this as a present for xmas when she was 8 months old and fell in love with it instantly. It is so cut and adorable when it walks even adults will fall in love with it too. It falls over (or can be pushed over as my daughter loves to do) and then asks to be picked up and says Whoopsadaisy !! - well my daughter (now 14months) tries to say Whoopsadaisy now and can also say Pooh Bear - which she learnt from this toy as it says 'Pooh ... ...can be used until they are much older - my daughter loves it so much I can't see myself getting rid of it for a long time - in fact I will keep it incase I (or someone else I know) has another baby as I think it is a must have!! Only problem is it is aimed at pre-walkers but they are not old enough to understand how to operate but I suppose that comes in time !! ...

i bought this for my daughter last christmas and she loves playing When she first saw the toy in action she was a bit unsure of what to do. but she soon got the hang of it. Baby Pooh is learning to walk just like a real toddler! Call Pooh, and he magically comes to you. He can walk and run at different speeds, knows when he's fallen down and when you hug him. He loves to be hugged, and says over 30 cute phrases which include 'faster, faster' and ... ...are usually included. This toy is made in soft colors and plush fabrics, the Baby Pooh toys feature adorable friendly faces and are particularly huggable this is £24.99 in most shops which i think is a bit dear but it does stimulate your toddler so other people might think it is worth the money they pay ...

My mum bought the Winnie the Pooh love to walk toy for my daughter for christmas. She is 11 months old, so she's not quite walking yet, but she loves winnie the pooh! When she first saw the toy in action she was a bit unsure of what to do! But now she loves it. Winnie the Pooh walks along for a few seconds, then begins to go faster. He uses phrases such as 'faster, faster' and 'Pooh bear is running'! She enjoys waiting for him to walk towards her ... ...it keeps her occupied for quite a long time! It is operated by pressing Poohs left ear, easy for us to understand, however a young child won't find it as easy as us adults. One thing i have found is that the toy seems to go bacwards on my carpet, but on a thinner carpet, he moves fine. This is definately one of my daughters favourite toys, one to keep for future children i think! ...
