Advantages Portable, quiet and functional

When my son was two weeks old (only three weeks ago) we decided to look for a chair we could use for him when he was awake and alert. He already very clearly decided he liked to be on his own sometimes and not always a fan of being held.
I looked at many chairs with so many different functions but eventually opted for this one. initially the attraction was not only the reasonable price in Mother Care of £63 but the fact that it would grow and change with my son and was very secure for new-born's.
Once home I set it up without my partners help, there is a major bonus! The first stage of the chair works as a rocker and also has the vibrating function. The deep sides and safety hardness means it is very safe for my son even though he can not yet hold his own head up or correct himself should he slip sideways in a cheaper type chair.
I was of course eager to try him in the chair as soon as I got it working, I gently placed him in the chair, did up the harness and slowly rocked it back and forth Silly me should probably have not done this just as he had finished a feed as it only resulted in the lovely new chair being christened with milk!
Skip to two days later, 3am and a baby who's colic has reached almighty heights. I was pacing the landing with him, trying to calm the poor boy down and his dad appears from the bedroom, bleary eyed and headed downstairs. I'll be honest, I was a little confused and thought maybe he waking making a hot drink for his stressed out wife! He came back up with the chair and siggested we see if it helped calm Carl (our son) down. I wasn't to sure it would work but at that time I was willing to try anything!!
Two minutes later (I am not exaggerating) Carl was fast asleep in this chai with the vibration on!! It says clearly not to leave your baby to sleep in this chair, and quite rightly so but I most definitely did! My son slept "like a baby" for three hours and woke up happy and ready for food.
I now use the chair daily for Carl to sit and watch the world around him or to settle him if he is grizzling. It is light, easy to clean and packs very flat for storage. Can not fault it and it is worth every single penny we paid for it when Carl is calm and happy!
