...Bear is made by Fisher Price and I am very impressed with him. I think that he will last but will need his batteries replaced frequently as I think he will get alot of use.
I am looking forward to my daughter snuggling up in her cot with Bear and listening to him quietly as she drifts off to sleep. I am also hoping he will amuse her when she wakes up early and mummy isn't ready to get up yet!!! Only time will tell lol!

... ...Sophie's reaction was when she opened the bear at Christmas I thought I would do a little update.
To say that she loved it straight away is even an understatement. She shouted 'WOW' 'BEAR' as soon as she could see the tiniest bit of it and then couldn't open it fast enough and when she found he talked - well she was over the moon. It took just a few attempts before she learnt how to squeeze his paw to make him tell stories and we've never looked ...

I love reading to my children, seeing the joy that stories can bring to a child really makes my day. Sometimes though I find I'm just too busy to sit and read with them. You know what it's like, you've got a million and one things to do and the kids just want a story. Now on occasions I have been a little bit naughty and dropped everything to sit down with a good book, after all, the chores can wait, the early years with your children can't. On other ... ...doing, at teatimes for example so the stories have had to wait. Now my daughter Roxanne is 9 years old and has an extremely advanced reading age, although she does still enjoy it when I read to her she is quite capable of getting lost in a story herself. My son Brandon is another matter all together; he's 2 and can't really do much with a book apart from look at the funny pictures and chew it!! When I and my partner decided to have children, nowhere in the manual did it mention running around with spray and cloth and holding child at arms length while urine was projected in an arch formation and that would be the easy bit!
