Advantages: good quality toy Disadvantages: expensive
of children who get the hospital but don't have any families to go there. Luckily, as we already have a couple of families, this was not the case for my daughter.
Since she has received this my daughter has really loved playing with this alongside her younger sister. She loves organising where all the equipment has to go and I have also overheard them making uo some somewhat gory hospital stories as they play. Also, as we already have the Sylvanian Rose Cottage I think I am starting to see a small village emerging on our living room floor.
This is not a cheap toy and you can expect to pay anything upwards of £30 for it - it's currently on Amazon at £34.63. I'm not sure that I would have paid that for it myself, but my daughters do really enjoy playing with it. Therefore, if there are any generous grandparents out there - this really is an ideal ...
Advantages: a delightful cottage to house your sylvanian figures Disadvantages: none
It was my younger daughter's fourth birthday on Saturday and from her grandparents she received this delightful Rose Cottage which is part of the SylvanianFamilies range. They had already bought her a little family for Christmas but they didn't have anywhere to live - hence this cottage.

It has a door and windows that open and close at the front. The back is open though allowing the child full access to play inside it. The cottage has a red roof and has a really lovely cottagey look to it.
It's not a very big house but it ...
Advantages: Lots to do, reasonable prices, interaction with animals Disadvantages: Roaming goats!
What is Cannon Hall Farm?
Cannon Hall Farm is a fully functioning, working farm set in the Pennine hills in Barnsley. It is an award winning farm, and offers a great day out for the family.
It is situated adjacent to Cannon Hall - however having never been in here as they don't allow pushchairs, I am unable to review this. My review will be solely on Cannon Hall Farm.
Access
It is 10 minutes off Junction 37 on the M1. The farm is signposted, and once you have reached Cannon Hall there is a large car park there, or you can follow the signs to "open farm" to be parked near to the Farm.
There are 100s of car parking spaces, and there are disabled car parking spots which are located near the entrance. There is a parking attendant who will show you where to park after he has taken the fee from you. The car ...
