When I'm choosing cleaning products most of the time I choose popular branded ones such as Flash or Mr Muscle, although I have bought different well known brands and the supermarkets own labelled products only to be disappointed but eh results achieved from using them. Flash All Purpose Pine is a really good product and one which I have been using for quite a while now. What I like most about this product is the fact that it can be used for a different number of household chores, which saves me from spending a fortune on different cleaning products. Most of the Flash branded products can be used for different tasks and this is one of the main reasons I seem to stick to those products, another reason I like Flash is because their products are fairly reasonably priced and they smell nice too which is always a bonus. I've lost count on the number of products I've bought in the past and they have has a terrible pungent smell which seems to linger in the house for hours after you have initially used it and no matter how much air freshener you spray the smell is still there. But with Flash All Purpose I can be sure that it will leave a nice smell in any of the rooms I choose to use it in.

I usually purchase bottles of Flash All Purpose Pine from Tesco or Semi-Chem and pay approximately £1.49 for a large 1litre bottle, you can also purchase smaller 500ml bottles for approximately £0.79 although I prefer the larger bottles because I seem to go through quite a lot of it. I could easily finish two 1litre bottles in the space of a week and its not because my house is dirty. I have laminated flooring in almost all of the rooms in my house with the exception of the hallway which is carpeted. Anyone who has Laminated flooring will know that it gets dirty very quickly and the dirt is noticeable, so the only solution to get rid of the dirt or crumbs is to brush and wash the floor; hence the reason I go through quite a lot of Flash All Purpose. On an average day I will brush and wash the Laminated flooring about 4 possibly five times per day; not every room in the house though, just the high traffic areas such as the kitchen and the living room. With three young kids, an even messier husband, 2 cats and 2 dogs its no wonder my floors get messy at times. With Flash All Purpose al I have to do is add a few capfuls to a bucket of hot water and mop away.

As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the bottle of Flash All Purpose is supplied clear see through plastic bottle. I like the fact that the bottle is see through as I can clearly see how much of the product I am using and how much is remaining inside. On the top of the bottle there is a green coloured plastic screw on/off lid which is also serves the purpose of a measuring guide. On the back of the bottle there is product and safety information as well as usage instructions. There is also some pictures which illustrate the types of surfaces this product can be safely used on.

As I said above it is recommended that you use 2-3 capfuls of Flash All Purpose to 5 litres of water, although I never measure out 5 litres of hot water and then 2 capfuls of Flash; I don't see the point in it. I simply just pour some Flash All Purpose into the mop bucket and half fill it with warm water, much quicker and easier than measuring everything out. One of the main things I noticed about the product when I added water to it was that it produced a small amount of bubbles and the water was a dark green colour. The smell was also quite strong, but it was a strong fresh and clean pine smell similar to the Pine Green Magic Tree Car Air fresheners things although slightly sweeter and stronger. When I am mopping the Laminated Flooring with Flash All purpose it doesn't leave a bubbly lather on the floor, it just leaves the flooring looking clean and slightly wet. After the flooring has dried it looks really clean and there is no evidence of a residue left on the floor. The fresh Pine aroma also freshens and lingers in the room for an hour or so after I have used it to wash the floors. The real evidence of the product working properly is the colour of the water after I have mopped the flooring, again the water is still green coloured but it is slightly darker and cloudier with specks of dirt through it. Real proof that it is lifting the dirt off the floor.

As well as being a great floor cleaner Flash All Purpose can also be used to clean your bathroom suite although I don't really like using it for this chore because it doesn't produce a foamy lather, and when I'm cleaning the bathroom suite I like a product which contains bleach as it seems to leave the bath and sink looking brighter, shinier and fresher. I do however pour some of Flash All Purpose down the toilet after I have cleaned it with bleach so as it leaves the toilet smelling nice.

Flash All Purpose can also be used undiluted on various surfaces such as your kitchen worktops, cooker, patio furniture, pet bedding, bins etc. I usually steep my kitchen bin with a some hot water and Flash All purpose and leave it overnight before rinsing it out. It is really good for this purpose as it removes any marks which have been left on the inside of my bin which have occurred when the bin bag has leaked its contents. The bin is always left clean and fresh after it has been steeped in a Flash and water solution overnight, I use Flash All Purpose neat on a damp cloth to clean the outside of the bin to remove any marks and even the stubborn marks are removed easily and effortlessly and again leaves the surface smelling pine fresh.

As I said above Flash All Purpose can be used to clean Pet beds, my two dogs have those round plastic pet beds and I use a diluted solution of Flash and water to clean their beds so as they smell fresh and are clean. However I am a very paranoid person and whenever I clean their bed Using the Flash I always wipe it clean with a damp cloth to remove any excess Flash solution from their beds in case they lick or chew their bed and get ill.

When I am cleaning my fridge out I use Flash All Purpose diluted in water to clean the plastic salad drawers, glass shelves and doors as it removes any spillage marks effortlessly and easily. However I don't use the Pine Flash All Purpose as for this as I think that it smells too much of Pine, I use Flash All Purpose Lemon (same product different fragrance) because it smells a lot fresher and I think the Lemon fragrance is a more suitable fragrance to use on your fridge.

I think that Flash All Purpose is a very reasonably priced product which is also very versatile as it is good for using on numerous surfaces around the home. I really like the fact that you can purchase Flash All Purpose in a variety of different fragrances, such as ~

Lemon ~ which I think is best suited to the kitchen as it has a really fresh Lemony fragrance.

Fresh Orange ~ again another fragrance which smells really fresh and is probably most suited for use in the kitchen or living room.

Ocean Fresh ~ A really fresh, sweet fragrance which is most suited for use in the bathroom or for the flooring around the home.

Pine ~ Magic Tree Air Freshener Pine smell which again like the Ocean Fresh is probably a fragrance most suited for use in the bathroom.

Flash All Purpose can be bought from most supermarkets such as ASDA, Tesco, Morrison's and Somerfield. You can also purchase it from other high street retailers such as Semi-Chem and Superdrug although the price may differ depending on where you purchase it from. I have also noticed that Poundland also occasionally stocks the Sea breeze Flash All Purpose.
