It doesn’t state on the box what materials have been incorporated to produce this duster but it does say not for use on hot surfaces or wet surface. I've recently acquired a Flash Dustmaster dusting contraption. They were on offer in a 'starter' kit in Asda for £2, this got me a standard length handle & 5 replacement dusting cloths. I normally buy Mr Sheen at 99p and a packet of dusters again costing 99p and this was comparable so I thought I would give it a try, plus I always like to try something new. ...is good too, a nice, easy to pick up box and it is clear from the pack, what is included in the box. Although it was release in 2004, my packaging is still stating 'New', 2 years after release! ...last few months and the Flash dustmaster with extending handle is the best. The handle goes from approx 40cm to approx 1m ensuring high victorian ceilings can be reached without ladder! Its light and dark blue in colour, quite a sturdy handle with a button near the duster to lock into place, which I find very useful and differs from the other makes as they move around and you can't put any pressure to remove the dust unlike this one. ...I also bought the standard starter kit with the small handle, not that I needed the handle but it came with 5 dusters which worked out cheaper than buying the dusters by themselves. Its easy to use easy to assemble, the dust does actually get trapped into the fibres, each duster lasts me around two weeks, (thats maybe dusting 4 times a week including cornices, ceilings etc) it works out more expensive than the normal bog standard yellow duster but ... Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Flimsy handle

The Flash Dustmaster is basically a disposable feather duster type product. There are 5 pads in a box with a handle you have to snap together, the handle is a bit flimsy so dont snap it together too hard or it will break. You slide one of the pads onto the handle and puff it up, its made of like a J Cloth material and fluffy fibres. ...around, making me sneeze. This Flash Dustmaster picks up all the dust and seems to almost lock it away. Even when you shake it, no dust comes off it. For once, a product that actually does what it says on the box, without disappointing!
