Verbatim Store 'n' Go 2Gb U3 Smart Drive
Advantages: Capacity, speed, looks good, nice blue LED, U3 feature Disadvantages: cap could be tighter, not Vista friendly until you update it.
...decided to look at this Verbatim because the price premium was small over a no-name equivalent with the 2Gb version clocking in at just £14.99. The device comes in a nice looking display package which contains the USB stick itself plus a good quality black lanyard for hanging it around your neck, assuming you like wearing USB sticks. The package is the sort that usually results in blood loss when you crack it open so use scissors and take your time. ... ...protection feature. The Verbatim USB stick works under both USB 2 and USB1.1, the older & slower variant but with such a high capacity, I wouldn't fancy filling it up on a USB1.1 machine without a couple of cups of coffee to pass the time. On balance, a lovely little device. Looks good, works well and has some nice bonus features (unless you're on Windows Vista and don't fancy upgrading the software). ...

Fast, neat, reliable; everything you would need in a pen drive
Advantages: LED light for when in use, large memory, no cap Disadvantages: looks a bit worn after a while, no cap could be disadvantage
There seems to be an influx of reviews on ciao at the moment of netbooks, but also pen drives and I thought how difficult it must be to write a meaningful, in-depth review of something that most people possess, rely on but ultimately have the same problems – its so bloody small that you undoubtedly going to misplace it or leave it in a computer somewhere. Then I thought, I have quite a good pen drive and use it as part of my job as a teacher like ... ...and materials that I simply cannot live without. Key features
So the ‘Verbatim Store 'n' Go 4GB Retractable USB Flash Drive’, or ‘pen drive’ as I like to call it has the impressive sounding Interface Transfer Speed: 480Mbps, Read Speed: Up to11MB / sec, Write Speed: Up to 8MB / sec as well as a 2 Year Limited Warranty. Ok, so we get it; it’s quick. Furthermore, it has a password protection should anyone want to steal my lesson plans should anyone ...

I think that this product is amazing. I can not fault this product in any way, it's fast, easy and handy when you need to carry a file from one device to another. Good for transporting files. Save and save again
Advantages: Quick and efficient file saving. Disadvantages: none it's just brill
...one I purchased was the PNY 2GB twin pack for £9.99 a superb bargain considering some offer prices on the net are £7.49 for one.
The units come in that now favourite pre packed plastic bubble thingy, which is almost impossible to get into without scissors. The USB sticks are between 2 and 3 inches long with a width of half an inch give or take 1mm. Metric and old fashioned money all in one there. The height is about 6mm making them quite compact ... ...procedures to copy onto you PNY 2Gb flash drive will do just that. Opening My Computer will show you your unit as another drive. The letter for this drive will depend on your specific system but assuming you have one hard drive and a DVD/CD drive then the chances are it will show up as “E”. If you are unsure as to which drive your PNY is then simple unplug it and the one that disappears is PNY drive.
Reinserting will cause your system to re-detect ...

Simple and cheap
Advantages: Well designed and simple to use, feels sturdy, retracteable usb plug, silent running Disadvantages: Small memory...you can pick up bigger memory amount for a small amount more
Picked up one of these Maxell USB Flash Drives with 1gb storage following my wedding as we wanted to send the pictures to family members who don't have broadband access and so when we spotted this little flash drive for £4 in our local supermarket my wife and I decided to give it a try.
Took this home and clicked it into the usb port and saw a little light come on and flash a couple of times then go on continuosly so decided to try and copy some ... ...the flash drive which it did without any problems and silently.
The metal usb plug is retracteable which makes this a nifty little gadget as many flash drives have a lid or something to flip in place to cover this up...the design is simple yet lightweight and this is not one of those little gadgets that you feel will snap in your hands which makes it a great little gadget with a price that is exceptional. ...
