As one of the earlier Microsoft flight sims this may not appeal to people in the 21st century as almost everything in it is outdated and has a newer version for little extra cost available.

The gameplay is very generic in that you spend a while learning how to take off in a variety of planes, fly around enjoying the pixelated view and then land (or crash depending on your aim).

This game was made before Microsoft decided to make their flight sims a bit more fun an adventurous by including fictional missions. The missions in this game are mostly about performing certain maneuvers and getting from one airport to another.

Hardcore flight simmer might still get some fun out of game as it does come with a high level of realism and has online support so you can fly with other pilots/simmers around the world who are usually willing to give you hints and tips about the best way to do things in game.
