Flint - Paul Eddy

Paul Flint has created an excellent character in Grace Flint. Unfortunately the book is being aimed , with no subtlety whatsoever and the "Silence of the Lambs"/"Hannibal" market. The similarities in the books is the heroines are both fragile police women , with great strength of character who come through against all the odds, and of course there are scenes of extreme graphic violence . There the similarity ends. The front of the book even boasts "First there was Clarice Starling... Now Meet Grace Flint". This book is intresting, not particaly one on my favourites but worth reading. I engages the reader but im not sure the storyline is that good. Flint is alright but there should be more action and more of an intrest factor. I think paul eddy definatly could hav done better. Maybe he rushed. But when i read it for the second time i realised it was actually borig, dismal and not ver intresting in my opinion. Mabye he could have used more techniques. the storyline has no meaning no use. Why bother it actually gets even worse, bad, borind unsatisfiying and you read on it isnt worths it is shouldnt ... more
