Having already owned the standard video camera I was looking for something far less bulky but a video camera that would give good quality video AND still photos. The Flip Video Ultra HD far exceeded my expectations. You will find its very, very light and compact, comes with a nifty protective pouch and will fit in your pocket much the same as your mobile phone. Over all the Flip ultra HD is a perfect daily video camera. If you need a camera to bring and record videos up to 2 hrs in length, this product would be perfcect for you. It has a very simple user interface. Its simple one click to record system is very easy for begininers or casual users. For the price this is a very good HD camera. As you can read from the previous two reviews, this little camcorder has nice dimensions and great specs. I'm not here to repeat what they said, but I am here to tell you that this little video recorder is amazing. Are you an outdoors person that goes on tons of trips? Do you rock climb? This video camera was PERFECT for my needs. I took it camping, used it when making home movies, and filmed my friends and me simply goofing off. The flip didn't break when I dropped it (which was often) which was a nice change from some of the other video cameras I've owned. The battery life was surprisingly long and lasted usually until I was finished with whatever I was doing. Though the flip was perfect for me, I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a camera to use for professional purposes. While the flip is fun, its sound and video quality isn't the best.
