Aqua nappys are fantastic, what did we ever do without them?
My little one was 6 onths when we first went swimming and obviould not potty trained at all. I purchased some Aqua nappys and took the plung in to the pool.
I was slightly nervous as to if these nappys could withstand a runny baby poo or if i would have to make a swift and embarrasing exit from the pool!
On the visit to the pool i put my little girl in the nappy, it was a tight fit dsespite buying a size which should easily have fitted within the weight constraints.
There is my first reccomendation!! Buy bigger than you need!!
The nappy looked a very snug fit, i wouldnt want to try and put one on a wet baby thats for sure!!
In the pool my little girl seemed happy and i almost forgot about the nappy!
At the end of the swim when it came to remove the nappy i had a couple of problems, firstly i could smell and see some of the contents ( a slight leak at the back of the waist) and secondly i couldnt pull the nappy down as the instructions suggested, I had to lie my baby down and tear at the edges, not an easy task as the material is really strong.
Anyway, some water had obviously seeped into the nappy depite the tight fit and i had a very wet soggy pool of water and poo!! Yeuk!!!
I think to be honest if you bought the bigger size it would be easier to get on and off but the water intake would be evem worse!
My suggestion? Buy Pampers swim nappys , i think they are the best on the market!!
