Advantages: Wide range of games, cheaper than consoles, portable and light weight.
Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console

The Nintendo DS Lite is a portable gaming system with two screens that have been vertically alligned, one at the top and one at the bottom. On the bottom is a touch screen that allows you to use a stylus pen for selecting options to playing games. There's also the standard direction buttons, located to the left of the bottom screen, and standard X, Y, A, B buttons along with Start and Select Buttons- all of which are located to the right of the bottom screen,. The Nintendo DS games come on a cartridge format and cost anything between £10-£25. The main advantage of the Nintendo DS Games over the Sony PSP games is the loading times are much quicker this is mainly because the cartridges are smaller in capacity to the UMD Discs. NINTENDO DS LITE

Advantages: I can communicate with friends when im on holiday
Disadvantages: nothing

At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer. The Nintendo DS Lite, is a sleeker, Nintendo DS. The device employs innovative dual-screen and microphone-enabled gameplay as well as Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities, allowing for a growing list of original and fun games that you can't play on any other system. Nintendo DS Lite Review

Advantages: Great Fun, Screens are bright, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Graphics, Sound Quality, New games are expensive

I've owned the Nintendo DS Lite for a few years now. In this review I will tell you about my experience with it. On the plus side it looks the part. Both screens are very bright making them easy on the eyes. There's tonnes of accessories for it such as cases, game holders and silicone skins that are readily available in most stores like Argos, Game and even Poundland! The menu system is very easy to use and is clearly aimed at kids. Ultimately it's great fun!!! On a less positive note if you buy the game brand new the prices can be extortionate. Thankfully sites like Play.com and Amazon offer second hand games at a discounted price. The graphics are ok but not mind blowing. There is a microphone although really I've not found much use for it. Finally the sound quality is very poor even through a pair of decent headphones. So ...
