It is basically a hanging basket type of thing but in the form of a tower. The tower is made of a plastic material with a mesh inside. you cut through the outer plastic to create a hole and plant through the hole.
The tower looks brilliant once grown. you cant see the plastic and yoiu can ether hang it or it can be freestanding. Watering is easy as the base acts as a water holder.
They claim that you can reuse them but the ones we bouught were not in any state to use as the plastic had rotted away. (We had left them out but it was not said that we could not).
These towers are a good addition to my garden and are reasonably priced.

I bought a couple of these it's a hassle to get the
compost out as the roots were tangled in it.
yes it gave a good display,but after one season it's looking tatty.
