Flymo PAC A MOW

My purchase of Flymo PAC A Mow was the result of some intense research. I was looking for a not too costly mower,that had a metal blade and which would do a decent job. Appearance: The Flymo came in a bright orange and grey colour which lent some colour to my garage. It is really cool to look at. It can also nicely be packed away after use so dosent compete for much space. Putting It Together: Wasnt too complicated as there is an excellent leaflet that came with it. I used to have a flymo Hover mower which i paid a LOT of money for but my wife blew it up!! (she tried using it when it was wet!!) So after i ignored my ever growing grass problem i decided i needed a new mower. i went out with the intention of not wanting to spend a lot of money and settled on the Flymo PAC A MOW as soon as i saw it. Recently brought this product 2 months ago, it's quite big, handy if you got a huge lawn. I've only used this product once or twice and i'm still finding it hard to use, it's light and easy to push around, They could've made the cord a bit longer especially as its a big lawnmower, obviously it's going to be used for large gardens so not sure why they made it too short. I had to use 2 extension leads to get the lawn mower to the bottom of my garden. I found it very hard to reach the awkward places with this lawnmower and it didn't seem to do it's job right. There are so many annoying aspects to this mower that it is difficult to know where to start. 1 The flex is too short for all but the smallest lawns 2 There are three cut heights. The shortest is too tight - the middle one is a bit long and the longest one is much too long for me. I use the middle one mostly. 3 To adjust the cut height, one must turn the mower upside down, and manipulate the axle of each wheel into the appropriate slot for the cut you want. I used machine only once. It was quiet, it cut grass easily. Empting grass box is more difficult then on model I previously had: Visio 300. When I started using mower second time it suddenly broke. Noise was deeper and mower would not cut the grass. I turned machine off, turn it upside down just to realise how blade snapped two plastic pins from white barrel above. There were no stones or any distractions on the lawn. Blade is still intact, like new. I called Flymo, just to be advised that I should visit shop 3 Miles away.
