It is amazing how much it will pull through its jaws and the cutting capacity is as advertised. Any branch that fits into the jaws will be shredded.
It is less happy with green leaves or old wood and prefers green ... ...leaves and stems or branches. It will pull through surprisingly twisted branches too, but may need a helping hand to line them up into the jaws.
It produces a good mulch which can be used around the garden or composted.
It does require periodic adjustment of the blade but this has been frequent and heavy usage.
It is easy to manoevre around the garden and the container is robust.

It is less happy with green leaves or old wood and prefers green woody material, but it works well on a comination of leaves and stems or branches. It will pull through surprisingly twisted branches too, but may need a helping hand to line them up into the jaws.
It produces a good mulch which can be used around the garden or composted. It does require periodic adjustment of the blade but this has been frequent and heavy usage.
It is easy to manoevre around the garden and the container is robust. Although it may look rather toy-like in its appearance it hides a robust and industrial gear box and cutting head. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others.
Advantages: Price, easy to store, does the job easily. Disadvantages: none i can think of
I used to have a flymo Hover mower which i paid a LOT of money for but my wife blew it up!! (she tried using it when it was wet!!) So after i ignored my ever growing grass problem i decided i needed a new mower.
i went out with the intention of not wanting to spend a lot of money and settled on the FlymoPAC A MOW as soon as i saw it. It was in my (low) price range and seemed quite a good moweron paper, so i took the chance and bought it.
Upon getting it home i unpacked it and put it together, a relatively easy and painless job. I then took it out to my jungle (overgrown lawn!) to put it to the test. My conclusions are as follows:
Very easy to use, nice and light and plenty of power, it cut through my long grass no problem and i didnt need to rake much up afterwards as it collected 99% of the cuttings in its box. I also ...

Advantages: Metal blades, easy storage. Disadvantages: Not found any yet.
I bought this mower and am really pleased with it's performance. I have had a petrol rotary mower, which I have been unable to use for a long time as it is very heavy. I have also had a flymo mow n vac, which was not effective.
The Pac a mow is lightweight and easy to use. It has metal blades, and cuts the grass very well, even when long.
The mower was very east to assemble, and the handle folds down to allow easy storage. The front of the mower even fits inside the grass box for easy storage.
I have a medium sized garden, and the grass box copes with this very well, picking up very effectively, leaving the garden neat and tidy.
The price was really good too- I think excellent value for money. I am happy with my purchase! ...
