As the sun shines out and the energy pours onto the grass it makes the grass grow longer. With so much rain starting in the middle of hot days it was impossible to get the grass cut but today I diecided to do it because it was a lovely hot day and the grass was just too long. I went to the shed and got out my Flymolawn mower, which is the great one of my neighbours has a non electrical so I am very advanced and am proud to push my orange grass cutter.
I didn't always have a garden but when I moved house about 4 years ago I decided to get one because it would make life easier. It wasn't until at least last year I decided to actually buy one because my neighbour's used to always offer but then they moved out and I had to learn to stop being lazy. I looked through my good friend the Argos catalogue and picked out the one which stuck out most. I don't like green lawnmower's they blend in too much with the grass and although all of the orange and grey Flymo mower's blend on the page this particular model stuck out.
I was happy to get the grass cut on a hot day because weeds grow quickly and the grass gets really high, one good point about this lawnmower is that even though it is big and quite heavy it cuts very high grass which not all lawnmowers can do. This lawnmower is easy to push so you don't need to be too strong. Another thing which attracted me to this lawnmower is that it packs the grass it has cut into a small green square and then you pull out the dray and throw it in a black bag. This makes life easier and saves the trouble of picking all of the grass up afterwards.
This lawnmower uses metal blades. They don't break easily but can be sharpened if needed. The blades never break which is also good so it saves money. The main bosy is orange and grey with the white Flymo logo on the front and the handle stick out from the top so it can push. The handle can be folded down to put into a shed there are screws to take out. The tray the grass is kept in is under the lid on hte front, there is a very useful manual with the lawnmower that explains everything you need to know.
I bought my lawnmower for about £120 at Argos. You can change cutting heights on this lawnmower if grass is short or high by moving the middle circles under the handle. To switch on the mower you press the buttong on the handle and it begins. The lawnmower comes with a plug and the cable is very long but if you need an extension they can be bought at most places.
When on the lawnmower is not too noisy and it is smooth to use. It cuts all of the grass evenly leaving the ground looking neater. There is a plastic window on the top which you can look through and use as a guide to see if the grass box us full or not so you know when to empty. This is a very reliable lawnmower and so far I have had no problems with it. I think Flymo is the best company for lawnmowers.

Phew - thankfully one thing I don't have to worry about - have a severe allergy to grass, so something that is left to the other half - although personally I would be happy with a backyard (and front) of paving / concrete.
