choc fountain for a choc lover
Review of Prima CF 50 Chocolate Fountain by louisecb

Advantages: looks good, easy to set up, price
Disadvantages: uses lots of chocolate, cleaning

I received this chocolate fountain for Christmass along with a huge amount of chocolate to put in it - as a chocolate lover i could not wait to get it going, i bought alsorts of fruits and sweets that me & the family could dunk into the chocolate to satisify our chocolate craving. I was even given a douhnut maker which was an extra induldence to dip! The price is generally the same what ever shop you decide to buy from at a price of £30.00 give ...
...that expensive compared to many things you can buy these days. The machine is easy to use and set up with easy step by step instructions and the controls on the base are also basic. The only problem that i found was trying to clean it - when you have eaten so much choc that you now feel sick and the thought of any more makes you wanna have a lie down the machine needs to be cleaned. If there is choc left in the machine that needs to be removed & ... Read review

Chocolate Heaven
Review of Prima CFF884 Chocolate Fountain by tomt89

Advantages: Provides an excuse to have chocolate.
Disadvantages: Chocolate doesn't sheet properly, difficult to clean.

...Electrics chocolate fondue fountain from Prima will provide a means of satisfying the sweet-toothed members of any family, party or other social occasion. The basic principle behind the appliance is to heat (pre melted) chocolate and force the liquid to the top of the tower using a screw mechanism. At this point, in theory, the molten chocolate cascades down the tiers of the machine and forms solid curtains of chocolate. Unfortunately, this did ...
...best combination (and you can tell yourself that you're getting your "5-a-day" at the same time!). I received the Prima Chocolate Fondue Fountain as a gift, ut it is available from amazon.co.uk for £37.99. I would recommend this to potential buyers but suggest looking at other models first. ... Chocolate Heaven.........
Review of Tesco CF06 Chocolate Fountain by lel1969

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Too addictive

The Tesco CF06 Chocolate Fountain is a great little fountain. I bought this for my kids last year as a little surprise for their Christmas, we had been to a wedding a couple of months earlier and this was really their first experience with a chocolate fountain and they loved it but weren't aware that you could get them for the home! We first used this on Hogmanay as we were having a party, the kids would have had me using it on Christmas day but ...
...than just 4 people, unless of course you want to make yourself sick! You needed around about 800g of Belgian Chocolate. You are advised to use Belgian Chocolate as this is smoother and oilier when melted and less likely to clog the machine. If, however, you would prefer to use ordinary milk chocolate then you are advised to add some vegetable oil to the melted chocolate, again to prevent clogging. Although slightly more expensive I felt it was easier ... Read review

Great for Kids!!
Review of Prima CF 50 Chocolate Fountain by tafili2007

Advantages: Easy to put to gether and use!
Disadvantages: Hard to Clean!

I had the opportunity to use this product twice now at my uncles house. All the kids were running around me shouting for me to be quick, they wanted chocolate!! My review is how it held up against a room of kids!! The cost: Aroudn £29.99 however these go on sale all the time in different places so itis worth to do your research. The Apperance: It has a silver base and silver plastic parts that all fix together at the top to form the fountain. No ...
...still once the chocolate is running the colour does not matter! Putting it together: It took me around 30seconds to put it togethers, i did not even need to use the instruction manuel. It was very simple even with kids screaming at me. The 'test': Well the product did not blow up!! It was running for 3 hours, it started off really well, it kept the chocolate warm. After around 1 hour the chocolate on the top of the fountain began to get hard as ... Read review

Tesco Chocolate Fountain
Review of Tesco CF06 Chocolate Fountain by Trystan2008

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Small

...can buy this product in Tesco Stores for £27.99, however, this product does ocasionally go on special offer for an excellent £11.99!! Now thats a bargin!!! They are quite small chocolate fountains. Obviously depending on the chocolate that you use is how quick that it takes to melt. But generally it is a very short and convient period of time. This product would be brillent at parties/weddings/family events. It's definatly a lot cheaper than hiring ... Read review
