It is an amzing buy for your dollar and it has helped me to cook numerous things. It is great for chopping pickles and cutting tomatoes and many other fruits and vegetables. Kenwood FP250 - Super duper machine! Advantages: Compact, easy to use and easy to clean Disadvantages: none that i can think of. Performance My multipro works like a dream; I use it for just about everything in the kitchen. I use it for mixing batter for cakes, make pastry, make scones, chop and dice onion, peppers, crumb bread. I even make milkshakes and smoothies in it. Grating cheese and slicing things like cucumbers and potato is a breeze. The blender is equally easy to use. Very often I forget about it being there, that is why I use processor unit more often than not. ... ...no complicated assembly, the rubber feet make it stay put while in use. A FOOD PROCESSOR THAT REALLY MEANS BUSINESS Advantages: Great for anyone who's serious about cooking Disadvantages: Mixing bowls really need washing by hand ...spatula. The people at Dualit really have thought of everything! The whole item is very simple to use and produces great results every time. The unit is of a simple, user friendly design with one large dial which can switch between on (one speed) and pulse. The main body is chrome looking plastic (not too tacky), complete with black underside and black suckered feet. The large clear plastic bowl is also trimmed with black. It comes complete with ... ...cookbook. The only reservation I have is about the mixing bowls. They can go in the top rack of the dishwasher but only at 40 degrees or lower and must be removed prior to the drying cycle. Therefore, I think it's easier to wash them up by hand as soon as you've finished with them. All in all though I'm very pleased and it has given me the inspiration to try out new ideas and recipes. ...
