Kenwood Comes Up Trumps Again
Review of Kenwood MX275 by argus92

Advantages: Customer Service Website very helpful.
Disadvantages: I am now addicted to baking!

...this extremely nice looking, retro-style Kenwood Patissier Mixer. I chose the cream to go with my new kitchen but, you can get it in red as well. Best of all, I could not believe the price! Much cheaper than I imagined. Isn't it great treating oneself? There it sits on the worktop looking stylishly important! It comes with a large (4 litre) stainless steel bowl with handle which fits very nicely into the base and, with a simple twist, is easy to ...
...main body with a soft damp cloth is all that is needed. My friend says it doesn't have the same power as her Kenwood Chef but we don't all need that. All in all, I cannot fault this stylish machine. Well done Kenwood, you have come up trumps again. ... Read review

AVOID
Review of Kenwood FP 920 by QARKED

Advantages: Single base unit for liquidiser and processor
Disadvantages: Complicated, too many extras. No support from Kenwood

I was pleased that Kenwood brought out the innovation of one base unit for liquidser and food processor, saves on space. What a disappointment.... The Kenstore facility gives the impression it stores the accesories, it only stores less than 1/3 of these! Something wrong with their trade description there, is this illegal? It comes with a juicer, citrus press grinding mill, most of which I would not use. These extra bits really do load up the extra ...
...people's needs. The finale...contacted Kenwood support helpline. They close 12.30 on Fridays until Monday morning. So then sent e mail which was ignored. Did eventually get to speak to human who said she would get back to me, never did. So finally e mailed chief executive and customer support again...10 days ago and no response. Just had full refund from shop. Kenwood don't appear to care about their reputation, or their customers any longer. ... Read review

Great processor, poor whisk
Review of Magimix 3100 Compact Privilege Satin Steel by markedwards

Advantages: Ideal powerful processor
Disadvantages: Poor whisk

We recently bought a Magimix 3100 for a stormingly good price at John Lewis - just £79.99. Sadly they have recently up'ed the price to come in line with most places, where it is generally £125 ish. The Magimix is a great foor processor. Its a direct drive processor, with the motor located under the processing bowl, which means great rotational force can be delivered directly to the cutting/chopping head. (Unlike many food processors which are belt ...
...which reduces the effectiveness of the processing power.) It comes with a razor sharp Sabatier cutting head, dough hook and dual-sided slicing/grating disc. There is an egg whisk, but it is mounted on a down-gearing device so it is too slow to be effective for whipping cream, egg whites etc. Hence, you will need a hand whisk with this too. The brilliant idea of having a small additional bowl and extra cutter which sit onto and inside of the normal ... Read review

THREE IN ONE
Review of Magimix 4100/16458 by genesy

Advantages: Very fast and versatile
Disadvantages: Quite heavy

Magimix 4100 is the only food processor, that I know, which comes with 3 different bowl sizes. The motor of the processor is in the base that is about 25 x 20 x 15 cm The three bowls are stuck, one inside the other, over the base of the food processor, in such a way that is possible to use the small one on the top without removing the others, or remove the smallest and use the medium or remove the first two and use the biggest. The smallest bowl ...
...main courses, bread, cakes, desserts and many more. All of the removable parts are dishwasher safe. I bought the Magimix some time ago and I am not sure of the price, not cheap, but it is very versatile and anybody who enjoys cooking will love to use it ... Read review

Morphy Richards 48950
Review of Morphy Richards 48950 by cyuvfr1

Advantages: Arrive with chopping bowl
Disadvantages: Only one speed setting

This machine is not made for heavy duty work. 700 watt motor power with pulse. The body is very heavy and solid, seems high quality. The pulse button is tending to stuck but not very frequently. The plastic bowl quit fragment and the mechanism of protection is easy to be damaged. In the bottom there are clasps for maximum stability. The drawn accessories is easy to remove and easy to clean. The power cable is too short. The operating instruction ... Read review
