I was pleased that Kenwood brought out the innovation of one base unit for liquidser and food processor, saves on space. What a disappointment.... The Kenstore facility gives the impression it stores the accesories, it only stores less than 1/3 of these! Something wrong with their trade description there, is this illegal? Did eventually get to speak to human who said she would get back to me, never did. So finally e mailed chief executive and customer support again...10 days ago and no response. We recently bought a Magimix 3100 for a stormingly good price at John Lewis - just £79.99. Sadly they have recently up'ed the price to come in line with most places, where it is generally £125 ish. The Magimix is a great foor processor. Its a direct drive processor, with the motor located under the processing bowl, which means great rotational force can be delivered directly to the cutting/chopping head. Magimix 4100 is the only food processor, that I know, which comes with 3 different bowl sizes. The motor of the processor is in the base that is about 25 x 20 x 15 cm The three bowls are stuck, one inside the other, over the base of the food processor, in such a way that is possible to use the small one on the top without removing the others, or remove the smallest and use the medium or remove the first two and use the biggest. This machine is not made for heavy duty work. 700 watt motor power with pulse. The body is very heavy and solid, seems high quality. The pulse button is tending to stuck but not very frequently.
