...used this product and former kitchen aids in the past. They are highly suited for industrial and home use. I find the kitchen aid very durable and up to most culinary tasks. I do however think the mixing bowl could be made to hold more volume for bulk mixtures.The machine has a lot of tools k,beater for thick pastries,blade for puree's ,whisk for the best meringues and what i call a folder for bread don't know what that part is rely called.Also ...
...whites or over heating pastry.The kitchen aid takes all the strain out of making pastry mixes ,meringues,and whipped cream mousses,no more 30 minutes whipping egg whites. I find this tool easy to maintain and clean,the mixing bowl and parts are all dishwasher safe.you certainly get your money out of this machine we still got an older version of the kitchen aid thats going strong after 5 years not bad.i must also comment on how safe this product ... Magimix owners - particularly Mum - say it replaces most gadgets. With a small kitchen and a partner experimenting in the art and science of cuisine it seemed the answer to too many cooks in a small kitchen, True it’s compact, in chrome it looks good even when left out on the worktop. It multi-functions -chops, grates, slices, mixes and everything ........almost. It’s fast, great for coleslaw and cheese grating, and saves time as for many receipes ...
...and return to puree! Magimix needs extra blades, which cost extra, but they last and stay sharp. The blades are easy to change but the metal ones need careful handling when washing. Washing the bowl and blades is best done under a running tap (to get into the niches) drying is more difficult but not impossible. Our Kenwood Chef now lives in the loft. ...I recently purchased the Kenwood FP776 food processor and have found it to be a great addition to my kitchen appliances. I have a new baby and can make her tasty meals in minutes. I was pleased that Kenwood brought out the innovation of one base unit for liquidser and food processor, saves on space. What a disappointment.... The Kenstore facility gives the impression it stores the accesories, it only stores less than 1/3 of these! Something wrong with their trade description there, is this illegal? It comes with a juicer, citrus press grinding mill, most of which I would not use. These extra bits really do load up the extra ...
...people's needs. The finale...contacted Kenwood support helpline. They close 12.30 on Fridays until Monday morning. So then sent e mail which was ignored. Did eventually get to speak to human who said she would get back to me, never did. So finally e mailed chief executive and customer support again...10 days ago and no response. Just had full refund from shop. Kenwood don't appear to care about their reputation, or their customers any longer. ... Read review
