An Ovation for my Ovatio
Advantages: sharp tools stored in the bowl, 1.5 kg capacity, blender and juicer as well as main attachments, excellent value Disadvantages: bowl has no pouring spout, egg-beater not as good as a manual mixer
...- I bought a Moulinex Ovatio 3 Duo food processor (model AAT7R4) second-hand for £25. What a wonderful buy it has turned out to be! • OVERVIEW •
There's a large bowl, meaning up to 1.5kg of ingredients can be processed, with a well-fitting lid with a chute for adding extra items while processing. It has the standard food processing tools: graters, slicers, a mixer and two chopping blades (metal and plastic), plus a central removable spindle which ... ...an egg-beater. Oh, and a plastic spatula. It comes with a small instruction booklet with detailed diagrams which - to my surprise - made sense to me as I worked out what each part would do. There is also information given in nine languages about how to use the food processor. I found the English version sufficient to get it working, although it was quite brief. There were no recipes, which was slightly disappointing, but it's easy enough to find ...

A WHIZZ KID SORRY APPLIANCE
Advantages: nice sized bowl, cleans easy Disadvantages: sharp blades insight needed
This food processor must be one of the best that I have brought. It is 5 years old now and still does everything I need. It cleans well and still looks like new.
The design is quite compact and it has various blades that you can interchange to do a variety of jobs, such as mixing, kneading, chopping and grating.
The blades are very sharp so you do have to watch when you wash them. The bowl is removable and all except the whisk spindle can go into ...

Good general processor
Advantages: Good product overall Disadvantages: Julienne blade chopping lid!
I've had the Ovatio for most of a year now, and it's been very good on the whole. The only problem i've had is that the julienne blade (chopping into sticks) tries to chop off part of the lid.
It's got two speeds, a button for short bursts, blender attachment, metal and plastic blades, and a whisk attachment. The blender does great soups.
It's not cheap, but if you'll get the use out of it it's certainly a good food processor. Mine was a gift - ...

Process up your bits with a Kenwood
Advantages: Small, easy to store and good for those small jobs in the kitchen Disadvantages: Will struggle with larger items
...I have had previously used Kenwood products before and had been quite pleased with what they had to offer so I was quite adamant that this little processor would be as good as it claimed.
Plus I didn’t want a monster of a processor, as I knew I wouldn’t need to use it all the time so it would have to slot into the cupboard without stopping the door from shutting, so when I saw this I thought it would be the perfect size.
Setting it up is fairly ... ...itself.
It has what Kenwood call a unique patented ‘Dual Drive system’, what ever that means, but as the motor is not the most powerful then I’m guessing it has got nothing to do with that, if it has then it maybe needs to be a ‘double-dual drive system’.
Speaking of the motor, well, as I said, it may not be as powerful as other processors, being unable to handle anything as big as a whole onion or the like, but it is still good enough to take ...

Kenwood FP250 - Super duper machine!
Advantages: Compact, easy to use and easy to clean Disadvantages: none that i can think of.
Performance
My multipro works like a dream; I use it for just about everything in the kitchen. I use it for mixing batter for cakes, make pastry, make scones, chop and dice onion, peppers, crumb bread. I even make milkshakes and smoothies in it. Grating cheese and slicing things like cucumbers and potato is a breeze. The blender is equally easy to use. Very often I forget about it being there, that is why I use processor unit more often than not.
... ...no complicated assembly, the rubber feet make it stay put while in use.
Durability
Well if having dropped the lid onto the tiled floor in the kitchen and not having to pick up pieces after this, I say it gets 10/10 for durability
Manual
As manuals go, I find them all much the same.
Value for money
Very good
It is very easy to clean ...
