Easy to cook now
Review of Kenwood FP108 by streetsmart

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Noise of grinding

Its a compact and convenient to use. It has single speed and pulse processor and have a wide range of attachments for slicing, shredding, whisking, mixing and blending. Quality of stainless steel blade is very good, so it chops precisely and blend thoroughly. The day I bought this my husband and my son demanded Strawberry shake. I thought how it will prepare, but believe me shake was too good. Since then every now and then I make shakes, blend juice. ...
...grind lots of onion and keep in the fridge to use later. My husband likes my cooking now as I can make paste very easily and in no time. Even its easier to wash the jar and never find any smell of onion after washing and drying of the jar. It has a safety interlock so very safe to use. I have purchased it in £30 nearly 9 - 10 months back and I am using this almost daily. I have grind pulses (after soaking them overnight) and it grinds well and prepare ... Read review

Kenwood FP698 in Satin
Review of Kenwood FP698 Satin Chrome by cazzooblue

Advantages: Compact, attractive, lots of attachments, storage,
Disadvantages: bowl and lid look flimsy, need lots of storage room for accessories

...a replacement for my last Kenwood that expired after over 25 years of use. The motor is housed beneath the bowl and this makes it very compact, and I am keeping it out on the worktop, the previous model was a big cream ugly thing with a bowl on the side of the motor unit and a removable plate to place the liquidizer and mill on. This model takes all attachments on the base. I wanted a model that had the spice mill, as the previous model had one, ...
...the same attachment. The FP698 despite it's smaller size came with even more attachments than before so I still need the same storage for them if not more than before. It comes with a stylish caddy for the slicing and grating disks that looks good next to it, could do with storage for the other things! The disks are cleverly double sided so you need only three to carry out all the slicing, juilienneing, and grating you want. At first I noticed ... Read review

Magimix 4200 - food processor
Review of Magimix 4200XL/18404 by sianalrida

Advantages: Use it for everything in the kitchen
Disadvantages: You need extra space to store blade box

...for your money? The Magimix 4200 comes in a large box with a handle, so easy to carry around if you are shopping (although a bit heavy so buy it at the end of your trip). The product comprises of 2 parts: - the main food processor - a separate plastic storage box for all the components. The magimix has 3 bowls - mini, midi and a main bowl. The mini bowl is a small bowl which can be used for things such as chop garlic, to make a salsa verde or ...
...As part of the magimix you receive a number of different blades: - 2 metal blades (one large and one small) - Egg Whisk - Grating Disc - Slicing Disc - Juicer (for lemons, limes and oranges) Also provided is a spatula to easily get the food out of the bowls. I have used each of these blades. The grating blade gives uniformed sized grated carrot, apple and cabbage - great for coleslaw. The other blades also do what they say and I especially ... kitchen aid 5kfpm 770
Review of Kitchen Aid 5KFPM 770 by maclennan33

Advantages: superb for baking, making mousses, purees, jus, omelette mixs great
Disadvantages: only a one year warranty, other than that great

...used this product and former kitchen aids in the past. They are highly suited for industrial and home use. I find the kitchen aid very durable and up to most culinary tasks. I do however think the mixing bowl could be made to hold more volume for bulk mixtures. The machine has a lot of tools k,beater for thick pastries, blade for puree's ,whisk for the best meringues and what i call a folder for bread don't know what that part is rely called. Also ...
...whites or over heating pastry. The kitchen aid takes all the strain out of making pastry mixes ,meringues, and whipped cream mousses,no more 30 minutes whipping egg whites. I find this tool easy to maintain and clean, the mixing bowl and parts are all dishwasher safe.you certainly get your money out of this machine we still got an older version of the kitchen aid thats going strong after 5 years not bad.i must also comment on how safe this product ... Which model?
Review of Magimix CS 5200/18500/18501 by Dinxy

Advantages: Magimix is slick, compact, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Gets scratched in dishwasher

This model is a great model, however i would recommend for occasional users buying a more compact model. This model's largest bowl will carry a huge amount of liquid, and is barely ever used in my house. The machine however is easy to use, and has a huge variety of attatchements for any occasion. I chose this model in white to save money, and i don't think the silver version (which my sister in law has) is worth the extra money as it requires polishing ...
...bleinding soups, making pastry, and chopping/grating vegetables. The grating attatchement is useful as it tends not to produce as much pulp as a manual grater, and when grating carrots for something such as a carrot cake, the carrot can be grated straight into the bowl, then the attatchment changed and the flour and eggs added straight. This product is essential now in my kitchen and i could not live without it. ... Read review
