Wear sexy shoes without the pain!
Advantages: stops rubbing/blisters with most shoes Disadvantages: didnt seem to work with all my shoes
...shelves I came across the Compeed anti-blister stick (It seems it is no longer called FirstAid4Sport, and seems to be aimed more at women now, as it was in the section with the 'party feet' and such products), and decided that sounded more like what I needed.
~About the product~
This product is designed to help prevent blisters and chafing from shoes. It also promises to provide an 'instant reduction' to rubbing from shoes. The stick comes in a ... ...the front. If you imagine the solid deodorant sticks you get, you will be close to picturing this, as it's similar only a lot smaller, being about 2.5 inches high - a perfect size for putting in your handbag.
~Using it~
The first thing I noticed about this stick when I took the lid off, was that it has quite a nice smell to it. I hadn't really realised that it would be fragranced, but the ingredients list on the pack does state that it contains ...

Give Warts And Verrucas The Cold Shoulder
Advantages: It works Disadvantages: It's painful
...feet and my friend recommended wartner as it had worked for her. What Is Wartner It is a product used to freeze warts and verrucas using dimethyl ether and propane. The liquid nitrogen used by doctors works at a temperature of -196 degrees and Wartner works at -57 degrees but is meant to be just as effective. It freezes the core of the wart or verrucca causing it to fall off within 10 days after which time healthy skin will have formed underneath. ... ...to clear, after applying the Wartner they were a bit painful and developed a small blister which disappeared leaving healthy skin behind. The smaller verrucas took a couple of applications and one massive painful one took around 5 applications before the core fell out of it. My Verdict This product is expensive, currently £12.99 in Boots and £9.99 from my local co-op chemist and it is also fairly painful to use. I had already spent £10 on 2 ...

Wartner--use if you want to keep your warts and verrucas!
Advantages: Nothing Disadvantages: Doesn't do the job
Wartner was first available on the market several years ago. I used it on my daughters verrucas and was amazed at how effective it was. In just one application the verruca turned black and fell out, the treatment was obviously quite painful but the verruca had been very persistant so the result was worth it. I then used it on my husbands verrucas and it was just as effective. When the can became old I threw it away. This year my son and I have verrucas ... ...still there and so is my sons so we will have to try something else because with the expense of Wartner I will not try it again. I presume that the manufacturers had problems with complaints of discomfort and had to change the product but unfortunately it doesn't now work! ...

** I Always Put My Foot In It **
Advantages: Good to wear before any pain starts. Disadvantages: Expensive, not effective after pain has already started. Unattractive.
...pain and picked up Scholl Ball of Foot Cushions.
** Scholl **
I have always seen the Scholl brand around and it’s not surprising since they have been on the market since 1904. One look at their product range and you can see their innovation designs and ideas. Originally inspired by Dr William Mathias Scholl, I bet he had no idea that his ideas would eventually be the secret behind the now famous London Fashion Week! (All the models use Scholl ... ...** Scholl Ball of Foot Cushions **
I bought this as an emergency. I knew the name and to be honest at around £4.00 they were far from cheap for one pair! I read the packaging and they claim to give immediate relief from burning pain on the ball of the foot. The dual layer foam should provide cushioning and protection, helping to prevent build up of hard skin. Well, all I needed was a bit of relief from the burning sensation in my foot and to ...

I MUST BE AN ATHLETE THEN ? !!
Advantages: Fast working Disadvantages: Nothing
Mycil Athletes Foot Powder.
I noticed an itchy rash in between my toes a few months back and at first never really gave it any thought. On a visit to the doctors over something else I happened to mention it to him and he told me it was Athletes Foot brought on by my work boots!
My chemical boots are acid resistance and as such don’t allow my feet to breath and after a 12 hour shift my feet are killing me. The doctor told ... ...it.)
I bought the Mycil and then proceeded to change my socks in work, they’re work socks, at least 3 or 4 times a shift.
I was getting sick of that itchy feeling between my toes and on top of my little toe, strange how it only affected one foot?
The Science:
=
Athlete's foot is a fungal infection, it loves wet or dampness between the toes so always dry your feet. And always use a talc, medicated being the best, after a bath or shower.
