Wear sexy shoes without the pain!
Review of FirstAid4Sport Compeed Anti-Blister Stick by
pink_champagne
Advantages: stops rubbing/blisters with most shoes
Disadvantages: didnt seem to work with all my shoes
I often find that my shoes rub on my feet causing painful blisters. I've bought quite a few pairs of shoes which look gorgeous but cut into my feet or rub, so I tend not to wear them very often. Realising how many pairs of shoes I have that fall into this category, I decided to see if I could get something to stop it.
I actually went to Boots in search of some anti-chafing gel I had seen on a TV advert, but when I was browsing the shelves I came ... ...longer called FirstAid4Sport, and seems to be aimed more at women now, as it was in the section with the 'party feet' and such products), and decided that sounded more like what I needed.
~About the product~
This product is designed to help prevent blisters and chafing from shoes. It also promises to provide an 'instant reduction' to rubbing from shoes. The stick comes in a little green case with a picture of a foot on the front. If you imagine ...

Scholl Cracked Heal Repair
Review of Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream by
galetew
Advantages: Does as said
Disadvantages: could become expensive if after longterm use
I brought this product as my heal was in so much pain and I did not want to have to go to a chiropodist. I saw this advertised but really did not think that it would work but as I was in so much pain I thought what the hell. Well I certainly soon changed my mind especially after 3 days of trying this product. It is brilliant and I would certainly recommend this product to anyone. The only thing I would suggest is that you do a regime where by you ...

Verruca stay right where you are
Review of Scholl Wart and Verucca Remover by
danielalong
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Doesn't work
Verruca and Wart Remover Little Miss developed a small cluster of verrucas, which I put down to weekly swimming lessons. Undeterred, I decided to try to get rid of them using an over the counter product rather than taking her for doctor's treatment. I bought this and gave it a go…
WHAT IS IT?
This is apparently a product which is clinically proven to be as effective as the liquid nitrogen method used by doctors. With one treatment, it will freeze ... ...days, although there is a warning that verrucas may require additional treatments. Armed with this information, and given that it was verrucas I was treating, I was prepared to treat the offending verrucas several times.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING
The product comes in a box with the most important information written on the box, and with full information and instructions on the leaflet contained inside the box. Open up the box and there is an aerosol ...

Show everyone a great pair of heels
Review of Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream by
laramax
Advantages: Easy to use and very effective
Disadvantages: You have to remember to use it
...am pleased to say that Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream did exactly what they said it would, when they said it would and you can't really say fairer than that!
I saw the adverts for this product one Summer and it sounded good. As I had rather rough heels with quite a bit of dry skin I thought I would give it a try so when I saw it on sale in my local supermarket I popped it into my trolley and purchased it. It retails at around £5 for a 60ml tube ... ...spent.
According to the Scholl website "At around four times thicker than the body's average, the skin on the soles of your feet is strong enough to absorb the impact of some 3.5 million steps every year. This tough-for-task aptitude is particularly true of the heel - the first part of the foot to make contact with the ground when walking or running. This resilience, however, is also the heel's weakness. "
They go on to suggest that "Thick skin ...
