Football Manager 2007 is still my favourite managerial game on the market. This is mainly due to the fact that 'Football Manager 2008' did not work properly on my PC (most of the menus were missing) and I have not been out to buy 'Football Manager 2009' yet.
In this edition of the game, the 'Team Talk' is introduced for the first time. This is a great addition to the game I feel, because it gives you greater influence on the mood of your players and can also influence the result of matches. You can either be hailed for an inspirational team talk by your players and media or make your players feel concerned for the lack of praise you give them. If you choose to tell the team to' play like this in every match' instead of telling them their 5-0 win was 'sensational' then players become slightly concerned.
The layout to this game is the same as the previous games, with player stats being given a rating out of 20 and all the various methods of navigating through the game remain basically the same.
One of the disadvantages is that you don't get to see where you as a manager are ranked in the world (within the game ), however you are able to enter the 'Hall of Fame' which Sir Alex Ferguson tops.
If like me you haven't bought the new editions then it's okay, because all you have to do is simply go into the editor (which is extremely easy top use) and update the game by yourself. Depending on how up-to-date you want it depends on how much time your going to put in. Generally I just swap relegated teams with promoted teams, update player stats, teams finances and make any necessary transfers which are reasonbly important.
Great Game 10/10

Advantages: Improvment from last years which means it is an even better game. Disadvantages: Addictive less of a social life for a few weeks but worth it
