The Best Sport Shops (Ciao Hitlist)

... After my recent encounters with 'Footlocker', I feel they are deserving of nothing less than a shining review to express exactly how pleased I have been with their service. Still emerging and establishing itself as a clothing-force in Europe, the brand has long since demanded the attention ... Read review

FOOTLOCKER, BLUEWATER

Advantages: Like a kid in a candystore
Disadvantages: Slightly pricey, but expected

...distinctive look and exclusive clothing, Footlocker was able to establish instelf as one of the most classy sports clothing stores going, despite the aforementioned referee outfits. The brands logo signifies this staffing gimmick with a stern looking referee placing his hands on his hips, all he's lacking is blowing the whistle on shoplifters. My first and only experience instore with Footlocker would come a month back as I ventured on a shopping ...
...Footlocker.

Footlocker was a very narrow experience, with the space working you down towards the checkout desk. Unlike some stores it was not cluttered and gave off the impression that they did not really need your business, and was a matter of buy if you want to. Whilst there were some incredibly nice clothes, the choice was slightly limited, and was almost like the London boutique of sports clothing. Trainers lined the sides of ... more

Footlocker, good shoes, bad staff

Advantages: Lots of them! Good range of trainer
Disadvantages: Poor customer Service, expensive

...choice was limited. But Footlocker do offer a fairly wide range of trainers, all up there with the most recent releases from Nike, KSWISS and Addidas. And l wasn't dissapointed with the range. However, this is where the possitives end. I stood in the store for a good 8-9 minutes before I made contact with a member of staff. And this was only after I had made the effort to seek them out (behind the till). And as far as I could tell, I was the only ...
...not been to many other footlocker stores. This still does not justify some of their prices though, which I had some problem with also. I found them be higher than average, with the particular trainer, the addidas Statton Island range being about £65. Now compare this to a similar trainer in Sport & Soccer for £37, and you can't really see how Footlocker can justify a 47% increase. But the story does get a bit better. Since I wrote this review, ...

Good clothes, bad service

Advantages: good range of clothes
Disadvantages: customer service, queues

Footlocker is one of those shops that when you walk into one, you know that most of the time you will find good stuff to purchase. It is the only shop i know of to stock the Nike Air Tn range of shoes and this means that they get most of the custom from all the so called 'hip' people. When i was looking for a some new trainers over the christmas period i ventured into Birmingham city centre to check out their Footlocker. As you would expect, the ...
...are good and you can't find them elsewhere with a good selection of Nike clothes. The layout of the shop was neat and tidy with everything pretty easy to find anf everything priced accordingly. At the end of the day though, Footlocker dissapointed me in their overall look and attitude. ...

Quick review of Footlocker (Shop)

I visited a Footlocker shop for the first time on my visit to New York City. What a fantastic shop!. The range of sports shoes was unbelievable, but what really impressed me was the staff. They were kind, very helpful and patient. I had 4 children with me who were all buying shoes and the staff were fantastic with them. Even showing them how to lace the double tongue converse shoes! I just wish we could transport all the friendly american staff back here to the UK to show our (JJB and similar) staff how its done! ...

Footlocker Forever Fantastic :)

Advantages: Exclusive trainers, Reasonable prices, Good customer service
Disadvantages:

Footlocker is a store widely known for selling trainers. Yet i have to say their trainers are EXCLUSIVE! Many styles and colours to choose from. So you'll surely find something to suit your likings from their wide range of sexy trainers. Their prices would be described as reasonable. Due to the quality and brand of the trainer the price is around £55.... (like in many other sports stores selling similar brands)....... The best thing is that they ...
...so far, i have visited footlocker many times whether or not i have made a purchase and their staff have been very friendly, helpful and straight forward.... mostly in the bigger stores like in oxford street..... they treat you with respect, greet you and ask you if you need any assistance/help. Overall excellent customer service. Footlocker sell trainers and clothing for mens, ladies, juniors and infants. They sell a sneaker cleaner/protector which ...

Street Style

Advantages: new styles before every one else
Disadvantages: expensive

Footlocker is without a doubt THE best chain of sports stores in the country. Their prices may not be the cheapest around but it is definatly the place to get the latest styles. They all ways have the latest gear in store before any where else. They stock the best range of track suits, jackets and t-shirts. I think they have the best range of caps available. They all ways have flexfit hats in stock which look so much better than ordinary style caps. ...

kiddie designer clothes and footwear is not as expensive as people think, you just have to look around and find bargin's like Footlocker is a shop full of bagain's, so i'd recommend anyone to take a look inside Footlocker. Bullring best by far

Advantages: Huge range of shops
Disadvantages: busy, but what do you expect!

too. There are over 130 shops including Debehmans, Selfridges, Molton Brown, HMV, Virgin, Footlocker.... and the list goes on for ages. Many of the larger stores have in-store cafes too and you have the usual eateries; Burger King, Pizza Hut, Costa, Starbucks etc. Throughout the centre you will find plenty of information points, maps and fantastic touch-screen self help guides which are easy to use and have all information on store locations, job vacancies, special offers and more. The centre from the outside looks like three seperate shopping centres, but they are all linked underground, which means once you ar ein there you dont need to go out until you have to return home. The mixture of modern and old has been well maintained and part of the centre built around the old St Michaels Church. The centre was busy, but then what ...
