ford fiesta flight 1.3
Advantages: everything Disadvantages: rear seatings a bit cramped
...my car - a silver ford fiesta flight 1.3. After wanting the newer ford models and planning to save up and buy a different car for about 6 weeks i suddenly changed my mind after realising I actually loved the car I had and would be ever so sad to see it go.
Its a brilliant first time car, the seats are comfortable, the clutch isnt heavy, the steering is light, it looks gorgeous inside when it is lit up at night. These cars are not too expensive neither, ... ...down on me yet! (*touches wooden table*) Parts are relatively cheap as well as cost of transport. It will cost about 30 -35 quid (depending on the petrol prices) to fill up my car and it will last for about 2 weeks and thats with around an hours worth of driving everyday. I would recommend this car to any first time drivers out there because it's simple, reliable and very lovable. I dont want to think about buying a newer car model anymore lol. Will ...

good little car
Advantages: cheap, economical, low insurance Disadvantages: rust
I had my 1997 ford fiesta 1.25 zetec for a year. it was black and i feel it has reasonable looks, especially if you invest in sum alloy wheels etc. I purchased it 1 and a half years ago for a mere £600. it was a manual and ran on unleaded petrol. I found it to be very economical and very reliable, I got well over 45mpg which was quite good because I was doing long journeys around 500 miles and would only take just over a tank of fuel. It had a little ...

56 plate Ford Fiesta Zetec s
Advantages: looks, cost Disadvantages: could do with a sixth gear for motorways
Having owned this car for 3 years ive had no serious problems with it. Good mid-range performace from the 1.6 litre engine which produces about 100 horsepower. More than enough for town use. The one or two problems I have encouterd has been regarding the heating mirrors, which are an added extra, regarding not heating up properly and the air-con which seemed to run out of gas very quickly compared to other cars i have owned. The standard of trim ... ...few areas of the vehicle which if your like me can become a little anoying when driving for a long time. Petrol consumption could be improved compared to other rivals, this could be healped by a sixth gear for motorway use because the zetec s runs at 4000 rpm at 70mph which makes the car a liitle noisey. Apart from these little problems i have encounted, the Fiesta Zetec s is a fun little car to own if your in the market for a quick little car ...

Ford Fiesta 1.1
Advantages: Cheap to run Disadvantages: Not alot of power
I had one of these as my first car.
I cannot recommend these cars enough especially for a young/learner driver. Mine went through hell while i was learning (missed the clutch while changing gear, clipping the curb, stalling etc) and it never missed a beat.
Most of the cars i have had since have not been able to live up to this car in many ways. The handling in these things is very good, with a good positive feel to the steering. Ok so the engine ... ...there for you not be out of your depth on the motorway. And there's also ample power to make the most of your favourite B-road. By far my favourite feature about this car was its ability to cover miles and miles on barely any fuel at all, driven carefully 50MPG is attainable. This, coupled with cheap tax and insurance, make this car very cheap to run which is definitely a plus given the current economic climate. The only little niggle i had about ...

Ford Fiesta Great Car to Learn in!
Advantages: Cheap but good value, economical to run. Disadvantages: Interior looks cheap
...in many other cars including a ford focus, a vauxhall corsa, but this car was by far the easiest to drive and really easy to get used to. I would recommend buying this car for someone as a car to learn in, its safe comfortable except on long journeys. ...
