Ford KA 1.3
Advantages: Looks, Interior, Reliabilty (besides airbag) Disadvantages: Airbag, pre1998 cars, back space.
The Ford KA, officially an icon for Ford. The Ka was introduced in 1996 and my girlfriend bought the 1998 KA 1 model as her first car. It was obviously a 3-door model (the only option) but it was in a weird colour, it looked like brown, grey and silver mixed into one, but it was listed in the logbook as grey. The KA was originally designed to only have black plastic bumpers so in the event of a minor crash they could easily and cheaply be replaced. ... ...after it had been into Ford for a full service, so make sure Ford check it. Also to say this car had over 70000miles when purchased, i have do say it was excellent and besides the air-bag not going off, nothing at all, not even a bulb ever when wrong and we owned it 3 years.
The 1.3 engine is quite gutsy and does pull well upto town speeds, which is the home of the KA, but beware any long drives do become very annoying as the engine is noisy and ...

Now onto my 2nd Ka!!
Advantages: everything! small and nippy Disadvantages: uuuummm...nah...can't think of anything negative
I bought my first Ka in 1999 as my first 'proper' car (i.e not some rusty old thing) and I haven't looked back since.
I love everything about my Ka (called Princess!). I love the shape, the space inside, I love how nippy and fast they are, great for nipping to the shops or for longer journeys. Nice cheap car insurance, and nice and cheap to run.
I'm now onto my second Ka, after my last one (who was just getting old, bless her), there was no other ... ...I've driven work cars and courtesy cars and none were anything like the experience you have with a Ka. My model is the Ka Collection - it has a better nicer pattern to the interior than my Ka3 - CD/Radio player, power steering, air con, colour coded bumpers, tinted windows, everything anyone could want!
I would thoroughly recommend this car to anyone, any Ka owner is very lucky! ...

Not a toy car!
Advantages: cheap, quick, small Disadvantages: looks, back seats
The ford ka is the second i ever owned and because of that it is probably the best car i have ever owned, but that is not to say that it is without its problems.
Its main good point is that is very small, which is good for those learning to drive, as it makes parking easy. The 1.3 litre engine on such a small car means that it has a good bit of grunt to it, as it has good acceleration at low and higher speeds, but has a poor mid range. I have had ... ...to the wheels very well. It is also very small in the back, making it a tight squeeze for passengers, and it also only has room for 2 seats in the back.
To conclude, the ford ka is a decent first car but it is not without its faults. ...

Ford Ka
Advantages: Nippy, quick, affordable Disadvantages: Not for a big family haha!
People say that Ford Ka's are small but since i got my car, I LOVE driving it about. Obviously for a family, a ford Ka is not ideal but for young people, students or people who don't need a lot of space, i think you'll find the Ford Ka not only suprisingly quick and nippy, it's also extremely affordable. The boot is small but big enough for carrying groceries etc. The car is suprisingly quick in its acceleration, a big change for me to get used to ... ...obvious Ford have spent time coming up with a good design which will appeal to most people. Neutral colours, a CD player as standard, electronic windows, easy ventilation and heating, clock and easy to see dashboard mean that the new Ford Ka is an excellent car for anyone to drive. ...

A Ford SportKa at 60,000 miles
Advantages: Good turn of speed and quirky looks Disadvantages: Tyre roar and motorway exhaust note
Having bought my Ford SportKA over a year ago now, i can say that i am very happy everytime i get in, holding its chunking steering wheel and listening to the deep exhaust note i feel ready for the go-kart like race to work in the morning. One could consider a standard KA to be a particularily ugly car, the SportKA however is like a pretty pathetic weedy machine that has been given a dose of anabolic steroids with its flared wheel arches and 16" ... ...however with speeds that rival the Saxo VTR (beating it to 60mph) it is more that satisfactory for a younger driver like myself taking into account financial difficulties with insurance. One of the cars major advantages and simultaneously its most signifcant weaknesses is its gearbox, low ratio for lots of torque, it is not a car that suits the motorway. Everytime you change up it is although it is out of puff and you have to change up again, not ...
