this car is excellent for the person lloking for a sporty car but doesnt want all the expense of having to pay high insurance, tax and petrol. i had one of these and it didnt half turn heads, and it is cheap to repair if anything goes wrong with it, unlike my bmw. the tax is only about £60, it caost about £35 to fill up and that should do between 350 - 400 miles to a tank. the only thing about this car was that it hadnt got power steering. as i suffer with arthritus i need those things that make it easier for me to drive and not be tired after short journeys. i repaired and serviced mine myself as im a trained mechanic and love messing with cars anyway. i owned this car for about two years and in that time the only thing that went wrong was the fan belt, but hey thats nothing, it takes about 15 minutes to do that even for the non mechanic to do. even the wife now knows how to change a fan belt now. i like sticking to fords as they are cheap to repair if anything goes wrong and the parts are easily accessible unlike many other makers. all in all this is a great car and easy to maintain without all those high running costs of the bigger sports cars.

yeah, it just looks butt ugly IMO.
Plus insurance is generally higher (or very high for me) with this cabriolet.

To be honest, I never liked the look of these, I think the roll over bar was a bit of a cheap cop out from ford and spoiled the look of a convertable overall. drew :o)
