What can i say but the best and most reliable car i have ever owned. I bought this car in 1998 as a high milage 92000 mile car. It was then just 3 yrs old. Full service history. I owned this car for 8 yrs after this and clocked up another 90000 miles. In that time the car only refused to start twice. Both times was caused by the battery reaching end of life. It went through 4 rear silensers, down pipe and middle box remained original. one rear wheel bearing, a clutch at 140000 miles, water pump at 150000 miles. Every time something went ie clutch it gave warning ,slipping etc so gave time to get to garage. When i finally sold it , it still started first turn ,and ran sweet . Oil consumption was about a pint every 3 mths. Only wish my present focus was as good. Old type car but would recommend on a budget. Zetec engine excellant.
