The car is very good looking - although it is a very simple looking car - you can tell that it was built to last. To be honest though wherever you look on the roads there is another ford fiesta - so if you want to be individual dont buy this - but for me I dont mind.
The car in my opinion handles ... ...deteriorate - but to be fair it's barely noticeable. If you are ever need anything replacing on this car - you will easily find spare parts - they are very cheap too.
This is my first car and I'm 19 so the insurance is very high - but for someone with 2 years experience and no points (my uncle) it will only cost about £800 a year.
The tax is £66 for 6 months or £120 for £120 for a full year. This is quite cheap and not ... more

The car in my opinion handles very well - although as it ages it does slightly deteriorate - but to be fair it's barely noticeable.
This is quite cheap and not surprising considering the car is a 1.25 and only 1300 CC.
The car runs like a dream - the gear changes are smooth - the accelaration is good (not great but again its only a 1.25), the brakes are very good - but safety is only average - it only has one airbag on the passengers side - and even after a very small crash - gave me a pretty big smash and a bery big dent in the car. (not my fault - a lady smashed into me from a side road - but it was very cheap to fix).
The car is secure - but with only standard key operated locks and less than satisfactory door and window seels - it can't be too hard to get into - that is why I have my trusty steering wheel lock and gear lever to handbrake lock.
The suspension is OK - and I mean OK - it appears to be very soft and bounces quite a lot over bumps - its not the most comfortable ride - you can basically feel every little bump of the road. The seats are averagely comfortable - but are prone to wear and tear. I've been ina few of these fiestas and they are not the warmest cars - although a heater is included - its not great.
This model comes with a standard cassette player - but i wont say too much as all of these sort of things can be upgraded - overall its useful - with a good sounding stereo.
The Car even in the town can get 40+MPG if you drive well - I mean I fill the car with 20 litres a month and that gets me about 170 miles - but when i really try it can easily get over 200.
Mechanically you will not get much wrong with these cars - i mean service it regularly - change the timing belt often and it'll basically last forever. The car is not a luxury model - but in a way it basically never breaks down and is mechanically sound and built to last - so in my mind that is luxury.
The windows are manual wind down windows which is fine - they are not stiff and easily opened and closed - as well as the sun roof - its easy to open and close and can be removed permanently if you want.
This car is not very spacious - i like to take my family out - but it can be a squeeze and people get uncomfortable quite quickly - but again its not a luxury car - its more of a run around. The boot is very small - but it fits all of the weekly shopping in (and thats a lot) so thats all that matters really.
To finish then - the car is verry nippy - it is very reliable -it looks OK and is a very loveable little car - and an amazing first car.
Advantages: Asthetically perfect, great to drive and eligant Disadvantages: Sometimes sounds as though it needs a push
Introduction:
At 17 I started learning to drive, I had no passion in cars whatsoever, it just seemed the norm thing to do. However, having passed first time I thought right lets get looking for a car, why waste it? After a good look around garages, I came across this car. Straight the way I fell in love. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asthetics:
My car is Black with crystalised ... ...anything you have seen. The body work is sleek and although it may be hard to hide scratches with this colour, the shape perfectly compliments the colour. This car could be nothing further from a box shape car. The curves are smooth and eligantly fit around the wheels and I'm sure any person who see's me driving this car has a smile of satisfaction when they see this car. The inside is very basic and has manual windows however is this really something ...

Advantages: Small and Convenient and good on the Fuel Economy Disadvantages: A little lacking a Acceleration...but it is 1.25l
Back in the day the Ford Fiesta was the car of choice for your first Car - you went down to your local 2nd Hand Car Dealer and found whatever rusty bucket of a Fiesta he had on show (or not to save blushes!) But this has always been an image Ford have been trying to shake off because the Fiesta is a great little car and the 2004 model takes that even further.
The Fiesta has always been a good performer with an excellent transmission, good handling ... ...it comes to safety. Ford also offer the option of additional airbags for only £300 - making 6 in total!
In terms of drivability, my only problem with this model is that, as with all Ford transmissions it seems, the car is a little tough to put into Reverse gear at time. This must be a Ford-wide design fault because they all seem to have this problem. The rest of the gears are a joy though - making driving fun!
The spaciousness is pretty new to ...

Advantages: CD Player, Power Steering, Central Locking, ABS, Airbags, Economical Disadvantages: Basic features fitted in the car at a not so economical cost
...the last 2 models of Ford Fiesta's a 5 door green L reg Finesse and a 2002 Freestyle (previously zetec, then renamed zetec the same year) I decide that I liked the new style fiesta and decided to treat myself to the new model brand new.
Despite me having ideas of colours to get which included a bright blue, black or Silver after attending a ford dealer I was placed on a 3 week waiting list and told that there was only silver or ink blue available ... ...to collect my fiesta from Ford all taxed and ready for me to go.
One advantage of buying the car from a dealer was that I got free servicing for life, a great offer as it saves me £199 a year, the car went for its firt service just 3 months of having the car this is something that is suggested by ford and then every 12 months thereafter or 12,000 miles whichever comes first.
I only do about 5000 miles a year so it tend to be every year, however ...

Advantages: Improved looks and a more spacious Fiesta Disadvantages: Less rear visibility
...very much like a small Ford Focus, the increased interior space, fuel economy, safety features and value for money. It is quite nifty for a 1.25 engine and is comfortable to drive. The steering column can be adjusted along with the seat to enable a much more comfortable driving position. The gears are easy to use and with power steering the car handles very well. It has front airbags and ABS. I was a little disappointed to discover no electric front ... ...for that. The boot space is exceptional for a small car and the rear seats can be folded down to make even more space if needed. There are 3 proper seat belts in the back, not a lap belt only for the middle passenger. There are also headrests for the back seat passengers. The interior storage is good with a handy drinks holder, always useful if driving with a child as a passenger. The front seats have storage pockets to their rears which is also ...

Advantages: small, practical, cheap to run Disadvantages: poor handling, noisy, cheap and flimsy interior
I drove the Ford Fiesta 16v and my first impression was that it was quite a nippy, nimble little runaround. Unfortunately, I then met a bend and tried my hardest to persuade it round it!!! The soft and sloppy suspension, which gives a fairly comfortable ride, did not give the car the road holding capabilities of other small hatchbacks such as the Nissan Micra or the Fiat Panda.
Boot space is a bare minimum but is enough to take a dog or a few bags ... ...with your mates!!!
Fuel consumption is this little stars selling point. Getting a pretty impressive 35mpg in the town and 45+mpg if you drive sensibly elsewhere, definetly wont make a dent in your wallet.
Trim levels are quite disappointing and value for money is not so good. With the LX you will recieve a sunroof, electric windows and central locking. If your lucky, you may even recieve velour seat coverings instead of the cheese grater material ...

Advantages: Reliable, economic and cheap insurance Disadvantages: Looks dated, common
After 6 months of changing my mind between fords, fiats, Citroens and Renaults I decided to bite the bullet, part with my cash and buy a Fiesta1.2516v Zetec. As a young, first time driver I needed something that was cheap, economic, in a low insurance group but fun to drive. The fiesta was the only car which ticked all of the right boxes for me. The Zetec engine is powerful enough to zip around in town, and handles itself well on the motorway and at higher speeds despite its relatively small size. The car's interior is basic, as is its features, but for a first car who cares? For a car that was built in 1997, I have to say the engine is very clean and working in perfect order with no rattles, bangs or smoke (that I've noticed) so far and I can see these engines doing well beyond 120k miles if driven sensible. Insurance and tax is as ...

Advantages: Cheap to Run, Stylish. Disadvantages: A little slow, electronic repairs expensive
I have always assumed Ford to be one of the most reliable cars on the road (often going around the clock) and cheap to repair once it goes wrong. Having lost my Ford Mondeo as a total write-off I was faced with trying to find a reliable, cheap to run car with a small budget, after all small cars are often cheaper to insure. The FordFiesta was one of three possible cars that I could choose )(the other 2 being vauxhall corsa and citroen saxo) Having found the most gorgeous FordFiesta1.2516v Zetec with Alloys and white Dials, I just had to have it. The car itself was manufactured in 1999, but had been serviced regularly, and never failed an MOT, it had had just 2 owners. Within 6 months of owning it myself I have had 2 major parts fail costing me a small fortune to rectify, neither of which have been covered on my silver warranty ...
