I have owned my Ford Fiesta 1.4 16v since last June. My particular model is a 3dr, which is more rare in this Ghia specification.

The car is a great little run around in town, and is very easy to park. Through 1st, 2nd and 3rd it is very nippy, so is the perfect town car. However, it also holds up well on the motorway, accelerating well in 5th to overtake the car in front.
It is extremely comfortable with the leather seats, and it is also great fun to drive. With the Fiesta, you often hear car journalists talking about its driveability, and you don't quite understand it until you actually drive it. It is so chuckable in the corners and always puts a smile on my face when I drive it. I had another Fiesta before this one, and I can honestly say this one handles even better, and that one wasn't bad either.
The interior is a reasonably nice place to be. The plastics are a bit cheap in places, but the centre console is well layed out and clear. This model comes with a good CD player which withstands punishment from my music, as well as A/C and iPod connection. This Ghia model also includes automatic lights and wipers. After having these on this car I now wouldn't have a car without them. In my opinion they are really helpful and a feature that is often seen on much more expensive cars.
The dash is well layed out and clear, with the tachometre on the left and MPH on the right, with the temperature and fuel gauges in the middle in a smaller form. The computer is also a handy feature, offering MPG, miles to empty, and the usual trip computer.
There are some small disadvantages which include the small(ish) boot. It isn't tiny, but there are cars of this size with larger boots. Furthermore, the rear seats don't fold flat and again there are cars in this sector with rear seats that do fold flat. However, I think there are minor blemishes on a great, compact car. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Advantages: Great fuel economy, FAST acceleration, excellent top speed, Great all round small car! Disadvantages: Lack of CD player (although CD Changers can be fitted), No Air conditioning, sunroof doesn't completely open - unless you take it off and put it in the boot!
I bought my Fiesta from a dealer for £3995 (from window price of almost £6k!) with new tyres all round, and in presteen condition. I've had it approximately 2 months now, and have already covered almost 4000 miles. It is an absolutely fantastic car all round. Great town/city car, very easy to park as visual all round is very good, it corners like it's on rails! and excellent for motorway cruising. 0-60 comes in under 10 seconds, so very fast acceleration ... ...capable (with 1 person and nothing in the boot) of just over 125mph - I did this on an empty airfield... The interior is very simple, with most controls on the centre console. This consists of push buttons for things like fog lights, heated rear windscreen, and simple dial-type knobs for the heating and the fan. It is a very simple car to maintain, and in the engine bay, everything is clearly labelled and easy to find.
Fortunately (touch wood) I've ...

...of a cracking deal that ford are currently offering to the public.
A brand new fiesta with air conditioning for free all for £8,995!!!
Wow! I hear you cry. But what am I getting for my money?
Well, the deal is not quite what it seems.
the good price is for a 3 door with no metallic paint. This limits your colours greatly.
So go for the metallic paint option.
ANOTHER £250!!!
OK, me and the wife are having a baby. Lets go 5 door....
ANOTHER ... ...focus. That is exactly what ford have tried to recreate and they do it suprisingly well.
The model we went for is a limited addition version called the Flame. This comes in 6 colours, Vitro, Flame, Black, Pepper Red, Green, Ink Blue.
We opted for the Ink Blue as there are not many about on the roads and it would be a bit different.
Ok, so what does the standard Fiesta Zetec come with?
Well, it has:
Key operated Central locking.
Electric front ...

...its before the days when ford made there cars super sleak and stylish so its kinda in a place of its own in terms of look and features. The whole car is quite sturdy, however the smaller details inside dont feel as strong as you would like them and some have a slightly cheap feel. This car is deffinatly worth about £2000 but dont pay more than that. Good, Clean, Cheap, Reliable Fun the fiesta 1.4 Ghia ...

Advantages: IT LOOKS SPORTY HAS A GOOD SOUND ON IT . HOLDS THE ROAD WELL Disadvantages: BREAKS DOWN EASY,, TOP SPEED IS NOT GOOD,,
I BOUGHT MY FORDFIESTA FLAME (LIMITED EDITION) IN JANUARY, AND SO FAR IT HAS HAD 1 MAJOR PROBLEM WITH IT .. I.E THE WATER PUMP HAD GONE .. WITCH LED TO MORE PROBLEMS!!
FOR A SMALL ENGENE THO IT GIVES OUT SOME GOOD ACCELERATION, TO GET YOU OUT THE WAY OF TROUBLE IF U NEEDED TOO. ALSO THE COMFORT IS OK WITH A HIGHT AJUSTABLE DRIVERS SEAT AND AJUSTABLE STEERING WHEEL, THE DIALS ON THE DASH ARE NICE AND SPORTY LOOKING WITH THE RED AND GREEN, THE CD PLAYER IS BRILLIANT .. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE I HAVE NOTICED WITH THE CD COMPARTMENT IS THAT IT GETS LOUDER AS YOUR DRIVING ALONG., ALSO THEIR IS NO OUTPUT WHOLE, TO PLAY YOUR IPOD OFF IT :( OR A PLACE TO CONNECT A "AMP AND BASE" THE OTHER GOOD THING IS THAT THEIR ARE HARDLY ANY OF THE LIMITED EDITIONS AROUND I LIVE IN A LARGE VILLAGE AND NEAR A MAIN TOWN AND NOT SEEN ANY AT ALL.

Advantages: good fuel economy, spacious interior, low maintenance Disadvantages: annoying stereo and seat belts
The relatively large engine for this size car gives the Fiesta fairly good acceleration. The power steering is responsive and it handles well. I have found the fuel economy to be excellent, despite what some reviewers have said. The exterior looks attractive and the interior is relatively spacious. In three and a half years, mine has never broken down and has needed hardly any maintenance.
On the negative side, the top speed is not terribly impressive, although it is enough for normal use. Annoyingly, the seat belts are in such a location that driver and front passenger have to reach back awkwardly and sometimes painfully to reach them. The stereo gets much louder as you drive faster, presumably so that you can hear it over the increased engine noise without needing to turn it up, butthe volume increases far too much. At volume level ...
Advantages: Comes with the handy extra of heated screen Disadvantages: Cant think of any!!
I have owned this car for 2 years now and *touch wood* have never had any problems.
The flame is limited edition and comes with a heated front screen which is excellent for clearing the ice of your screen in the mornings. It only takes a couple mins and the screen is clear and ready for you to drive away!
It is economical on petroland it costs around £35 to fill the tank from empty (depending on fuel costs obviously). It is known for having 'the best handling in its class' which I can vouch for. It is also spacious inside and fits 2 cars seats in the back comfortably, never tried 3 car seats but with 3 small seats it may be possible.
Overall an EXCELLENT car and I would recommend to anyone wanting a small cheap reliable car to nip about in! ...
