This was my third driving instructors second car (i've driven a few!) and this is the car i passed my test in. It's a beautiful design and he had the 5 door blue one. I think the design features for this car are better than my car (peugeot 206 - as my handbrake is over the passenger side and people have to move out the way so i can get it) and the handbrake in the fiesta is at my side.

The gear stick is a little further forward than mine but thats not a problem I just had to get used to it. The dash board is a bit confusing as theres lots of buttons and features, but as I was only learning in the car he just showed me the ones I needed to know!

I almost bought a 54 reg Ford Fiesta Zetec, but at 4 grand my dad was a bit apprehensive on buying it (and after all the problems i've had with the 206 he wishes he'd bought me that instead!) I'm planning on buying a Ford Fiesta (at least the second shape if I can't afford the new one) as I truly fell in love with the car! I don't like the old shape I think it's ugly, but I suppose you can't always go for looks!

I found the car to be very comfortable and i liked the fact that the side mirrors went in when you locked the car (someone punched my right side mirror off the night before my first test!) so it's very good, especially if your useless like myself and forget to put them in manually.

The only problem I had with this car was that it wasn't the best going over speed bumps. I tried going over one at about 13mph and the bottom of the car at the front scraped across the road (i can't remember what the plastic flap is called...mud flap?). While in my car i can go over them at 15mph with no problem. I had to slow down to about 8mph for it to be okay. It also felt horrible going over the speed bumps if i tried to go over at about 10mph (which is why i slowed to about 8) because it feels like the front of the car is going to crash onto the road. wasn't a nice feeling, but that could be just me being impatient!

but apart from speed bumps it was a nice car!
