I bought this car new in September 07 and never looked back. Very cheap to run, excellent build quality and great handeling result in a top buy! Personally i find the cars only pit fall is the gear ratio's. If its a town car you want then this isnt it as the fuel economy drops rapidly at crawling speeds but if its A roads its ideal. Beautifly styled, excellent equiptment level for a car of this cost.
In my opinion Ford hit the nail on the head with this car. It appeals to many drivers young and old but has all the comforts that you would ever need out of a town/shopping car.The main things to look out for when buying this car are definatly that all the services have been kept up to date as the engine runs fairly fast and hot it can cause problems later in life if cared for incorrectly, The B pillar plastics tend to come loose and the front suspension shockers leak occasionally.
I have owned 5 small cars now and this is the best one i've had by far!
