"The best car i have ever owned"

I will start this review off by saying first I am crap at English so if my spelling or grammar is not very good I can only blame my teachers at school not me because it can not be my fault.

The ford focus zetec 1.6i is the best car I have ever had which is only 4 but I have drove a lot of cars in my time and in my opinion the focus is the best by far

I first chose the focus because I and my wife had another baby and needed a larger car and a boot to fit a pushchair into and my old car just was not up to the job.
I had a Vauxhall corsa 1.2L.S only three doors so it was a bit of a pain keep getting out to let people in the back.

The Focus on handling
The focus is by far the best in its class for handling it is just so smooth and it feels like the car is driving its self. When driving over bumps or ruff ground the car steering wheel does not move from side to side like some cars do the steering remains light and comfortable. It is light and easy to turn corners and parking is no longer a choir it’s a pleasure

The focus on interior
My focus has a nice light interior which my wife picked but there are so many to choose from if buying from new. The thing I like the best about the interior is the seats.
I have a disease in my back called ankylosing spondylitis which affects the curvature of my spine and causes me great pain in nearly every thing I do but the focus zetec seats are so comfortable it eases my pain this is because the zetec has a sports style bucket seat which you do not get in other ford models i.e. The fiesta or fusion the seat seams to just grow around your back which in my case is just great. Every thing else on the inside of the car is to your own personal taste if you buy from new but comes with cd player which is a must. The styles of the interior are all nice so even if you buy second hand I think you would like it.They now have air conditoning which mine hasn`t but with electric windows i do not feel i need it.

The focus on style of exterior
The only thing I can say on this is I like it but there are people who think it looks like a brick but this is the only thing it might have in common with a brick

The focus on price
Depending on where you buy it from can reflect the price I shopped around a bit and in the end decided on a ford garage because they had lots of different offers on I got away with paying V.A.T and I got £1000 cash back which meant I paid just over £11,000 which is not bad for a car like the focus.
You could also save money by buying nearly new say 6 months old because we all know that cars loose a lot of money soon as they leave the garage forcourt but if you get 1 that has only done a few 1000 miles you will be very happy with the car.
The only thing I can say about choosing this way to own a focus is that you can not choose the interior or colour.

The focus on fuel
The focus is not bad on fuel mine is petrol and I get around 90 mile on every £10 of fuel around the doors but on motorways I get about 120 – 150 mile to the £10 of fuel
I’m sorry I do not know on miles per gallon or miles per litre

The focus on safety
the new focus now comes with ABS which mine does not and it has some electrical system which
only applies the right amount of preasure to the brakes if you are in a bad situation where you have to stop fast i.e. A crash it also so has driver and passenger air bags plus side air bags.

The focus on secuirity
the focos has remote control central locking and a double lock system where even if they smash the windows they will not be able to open the doors. It also comes with alarm and an amoblizer.

On the whole the focus is great I have had mine for three years and it has suited me down to the ground but we have just had another baby so we have ordered another car I am that happy with the focus I have gone to buy another one but a little different I’m getting a focus c-max this time because it is a bigger car I will let you know about this one after I have had it a while
Cheers for reading my review it is only my third so be gentle but I will take what ever comments you have about it to help me improve my reviews.
Cheers Roddaz

Good review - I just dont understand how these cars are outselling the new Astras. And I say that as someone who's dad has worked for Ford all his life. I've got a new Astra SXi Digital and I would buy one of those over the Focus any day!
