Advantages: Ease of use , smooth gear changes , good price Disadvantages: None as of yet
Thought i would write a review , since a couple of weeks ago i done something that i swore i would never do again and that was buy a new Ford Car.
About 12 years ago i purchased a Ford Escort brand new from Ford and not only was the service dreadful but the car was a complete and utter bag of nails that wouldn't have pulled you out of bed in the morning never mind away from a set of lights !!.
Anyway , have been pondering about purchasing a new car and despite liking the look of the Focus my previous experience with Ford stopped me from previously considering purchasing one.
Anyway , seen an add in a local paper for the above model , with the addition of Alloy wheels and Metallic paint as a "Special" on this edition for Scottish customers , so along i went to my local Reg Vardy dealership to have a look , very nice experience it ...

Ciao members have rated this car review on average: helpful Review of Ford Focus 1.6
Advantages: Excellent all round car that looks amazing Disadvantages: The price!
I have had the FordFocus1.6 Edge for nearly 6 months now and I must say its a brilliant car. It looks the part, with 3 doors, 16" alloy wheels and a subtle sports package that doesn't look too much like a boy racers creation. The engine is more than capable of getting you from 0-60 in around 10 seconds, and is very smooth to drive with power steering and ABS brakes. The interior is nice and simple, with a decent stereo system fitted as standard, and some neat features, such as the seperate 12v plug in the back, should your passengers need to charge there ipod. Overall I can't fault this car for its performance. The price tag maybe the only thing letting it down at £13k new. Other than that, highly recommended! ...
Advantages: Fast, Fab sports handling, comfortable, Unique Styling Disadvantages: Expensive on repairs
the centre of the seats. Offering height adjustment and lumbar support. Mark's car is in Moodust Silver so it is prone to the odd stone chip marking the paintwork as most cars are. the seats are comfy and when you are driving they really give you the feel of driving a sports car.
The engine is 2.0i16vduratec ST petrol engine with 170 bhp (brake horse power) with Variable Valve Timing technology allowing the car to rev over 7,300 rpm with ease.
The engine is so obviusly powerful (0-62 in 8.2seconds )and could overtake anything on a steep hill, one thing I noticed whilst driving the car is how stiff the clutch is, I put this down to me being female and the fact that my clutch is nothing special on my car but all the same I have yet to come across a car with a clutch as stiff as this. This car does literally drink petrol, to fill the tank ...
